"Did you....." I looked around the little forest
"What is it?" Bucky asked
"Something is wrong" I whispered scrunching my brow together
"There's nothing wrong Ash. I made sure this place was safe" Bucky chuckled
"No, not here. It's.....a stone" I said realising what the magical pull inside of me was trying to say
"A stone?" He repeated
"An infinity stone" I nodded as I stood up
"Ash?" Bucky stood up too
"Give me a second" I said closing my eyes and holding my hands out
I found the shadow, I stuck my head in.

"STEVE!" I smiled at the Captain
"Ash?" The Blonde asked confused seeing just my head coming from the shadow on the jet
"Yeah yeah. You need to go to Edinburgh, I think it's Vision. He needs help" I told him
"We're already there, we're flying now" Steve replied nodding
"You know what's happening?" I asked him
And he nodded
"I'll contact Tchalla asking landing permission in the next few days. Don't tell Bucky yet" Steve told me
I nodded and backed away as their jet landed

I blinked and looked at Bucky who was poking me arm confused
"GAH!" He jumped seeing me fully me again
I just laughed at him
"Don't lose your head" I teased and he huffed
"What was it?" He asked sitting down again and I followed
"Something with Vision and the mind stone. But Steve is on it" I explained briefly
"Oh okay. Strawberry?" He nodded and lifted the fruit to me
I smiled and hit the chocolate coated fruit
I sighed in delight at the taste explosion in my mouth
"Ugh I love it" I smiled and he smiled back
"I know, that's why I got them" he laughed wiping chocolate from my bottom lip

I stared into those blue eyes that showed me the way home. To Bucky

"Um....I actually had something to say" Bucky sat up and began to pat his chest
"Okay, but if it's convincing me you have bad pecks, I'm going to throw a fireball at you. You know you have incredible pecks" I warned pulling his hands from his chest
He chuckled nervously "no, no it's not that" he shook his head and patted his trousers now
Confusion was written on my face now.
"So what are you patting yourself for then?" I asked confused
"Ehhh....well I did have something for you, but I think....I might have left it in Shuri's lab when I had her shine it up" he realised he hadn't his object he wanted
"You can get it later sure. Just tell me what you wanted to say then" I smiled softly
"Well the thing would make it better" he scratched the back of his neck
"I'm sure it's fine either way. Tell me" I shuffled closer smiling

"Okay." He took my hands in his
"Ash, I love you. I've loved you for a really really, REALLY, long time, and I've known you more than any person usually does. You make me so ridiculously happy. You're what gives me reason to keep going, and you've always helped me see the good in life. I can't believe that I even have you in my life to be honest" he said
I chuckled at his very random confession
"If I had the thing I'd probably show you it now" he said getting on one knee
He held a stone forward, I gasped in shock, m free hand going to my mouth
"If I had my grandmothers ring, I'd be offering it to you. But for now, here is this....very, pretty...stone" he chuckled awkwardly
"Ash Hellhound, will you do me the honour of-" he was cut off by my Komodo beads

"Ash. James. We need you back at the palace, NOW. There's an attack, Captain Rogers says end of the world. Your suits are here" Shuri said and disappeared
I looked from my wrist to Bucky.
"We can't have a single moment, can we? And nothing can ever go right?" He sighed and stood up looking at the stone
"I think it was really sweet Buck. And I'll take that stone. Thank you" I pecked his cheek as I passed and took the stone
"Was that a yes?!" He shouted after me as I shifted and walked quickly
'You never asked me anything technically' I replied teasingly wanting another date
"Okay, I'll ask on our date tomorrow" he said proud of himself as he climbed on my back as I ran the two of us across the city
'Then we better make it through the end of the world first' I said happily
