"Okay. Call me if you get a hit. Thanks, Torres." Sam hung up

"You okay?" Bucky asked Sam
"Yeah. Just thinking about all the sh1t Sharon had to go through." Sam said sadly
I sighed and rolled to my other side on this seat, turning my fluffy back to them
"And Nagel referring to the American test subject like Isaiah wasn't even a real person. Just makes me wonder how many people have to get steamrolled to make way for this hunk of metal." Sam continued

I couldn't lie, I was thinking the same.

"Well, it depends on who you ask. That hunk of metal saved a lot of lives." I sent them
"Yeah, I get that. All right. Maybe I made a mistake" Sam admitted
"You did. Yeah." Bucky agreed
"Maybe I shouldn't have put it in a museum. Maybe I should have destroyed it." Sam suggested
"Look, that shield represents a lotta things to a lotta people, including me. The world is upside down, and we need a new Cap, and it ain't gonna be Walker. So before you go and destroy it, I'm gonna take it from him myself." Bucky told him

"Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Thanks. Good work. They found Madani... Dead. She died in Riga, a city near the Baltic Sea." Sam told us
"I have a place we can go. I, for one, am looking forward to coming face to face with Karli. Oeznik, we're changing the course." Zemo said

"Have any of you even been to Sokovia?" Zemo asked as we followed him
"Of course not" he said when none of us replied

As we walked I spotted a very familiar Koyo bead. Meaning the Dora were here. I motioned to it and Bucky nodded, he seen it too

"We're gonna take a walk" Bucky told them
Sam nodded and followed Zemo inside the building

"They knew all along" I sighed as we looked around
"You thought they wouldn't?" He chuckled
"Oh I knew they'd come. Just hoped we'd have a bit more time" I corrected him and pointed out where I heard faint beeping from and found the next bead
"Me too" he nodded as we walked down the side street

"You dropped something." I announced
"I was wondering when you were gonna show up." Bucky turned and there stood Ayo

"How could you free him?" She asked us
"We needed his help" I said
"With time, will and resources, the Winter Solider programme was removed from you like a rotten fur" Ayo walked around us
"And I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful for everything you and Shuri have done-" Bucky said
"Zemo murdered our king T'Chaka at the U.N. the man who chose us. who chose me to protect him" she walked around us
"We understand" I said
"Very little, if anything, of our loss and shame" she said
"He's a means to an end" Bucky said in Wakandan
"Eight hours white wolf, fire wolf. Then we come for him" Ayo told us
She held her hand out and we each returned the bead we held
And she turned and walked away

"We don't have enough time Buck" I exclaimed as we walked back to the house
"I know Ash. But we need to use what we've got" he sighed and took my hand in his
"Yup" I agreed

He held the front door open for me and I ducked under his arm to pass
"Thanks" I mumbled walking up the stairs

We walked into the main door of the apartment just as Zemo walked out the bathroom
"Well the Wakandans are here" I said sarcastically
"They want Zemo. Bought us some more time" Bucky added
"Were you followed?" Sam asked
"No" I replied for us
"How can you be so sure?" Zemo asked
"'Cause I know when I'm being followed" Bucky snapped at him

"It was sweet of you to defend me at least" Zemo looked at us
"Hey you shut it. Nobody's defending you, you killed Nagal" sam shouted at him
"Do you really need to litigate what may or may not have happened?" Zemo asked
"There's nothing to litigate, you straight shot the man" Sam said
