"BUCKY! SAM NEEDS US!" I shouted down the hall from the kitchen

"Doll I'm literally in the shower!" I heard Bucky shout back
I chuckled
"We'll be there Sam don't worry" I said into the phone and ended the call

I threw back my milkshake and walked to the bathroom

I knocked on the door, before popping my head in.
"Buck?" I asked
"Hmm doll" he hummed from the shower
I smiled and walked to him, I sat on the floor looking at the nearly see through plastic covering protecting him
"Sam just called, they know where Karli is" I said
"Okay, I'll be fast" he replied
"Yeah, you do that, and I'll get everything ready okay?" I asked
"Thank you. I love you" he said and I could tell he was smiling
"I love you too" I said standing up
I went to leave when I was stopped "Ash come here for a second please" Bucky said sticking his wet head around the curtain
I turned and walked to him
"Ya?" I asked

He leaned towards me and pressed his lips to mine in a quick kiss
"I do love you" he repeated
"I know. Now shower faster" I chuckled and pushed his head in the curtain and left

I was laying horizontally across our bed in my suit while I watched Bucky change quickly and fix up his gear
"Do you have my daggers?" He spun on his heel to look at me
"I already have mine. Yours are on the dresser" I pointed to the perfectly polished weapons sitting beside my very normal hairbrush and few cosmetics
He hummed happily tucking them into his many holsters
"You're hair is wet" I announced
"Really? I didn't notice" he sassed making me laugh
"Come here you big lug" I teased moving to the edge of the bed

He sat on the ground, my legs on either side of him as I began tho run my hands through his wet hair.
I focused my fire and produced heat to dry the hair, like a hair dryer his hair was dry in two minutes flat
"That'll be a fee of a kiss Mr.Barnes" I smirked
"I'll exchange that fee for dinner?" He asked smiling up at me
"I'll just take you up on that" I smiled and kissed his nose before we both stood up

"We have breaking news. There's a complete lockdown at the GRC meeting in Lower Manhattan where authorities are saying they're tracking multiple threats from groups seeking to stop the GRC's vote on global resettlement. There is a no-fly zone in effect..." reports had all gathered around
"And the NYPD has the area secured for the moment. Everyone is urged to stay clear" another said

Bucky and I walked passed, I was a pup perched on his shoulder, my eyes scanning for any hints

"I'm almost there." Sam said over comms
"What's the plan?" Bucky asked
"Karli's gotta be close. Keep your eyes open." Sam told us
And I barked once, 'no, we're going to let her go' I sent them both
"Well, it could be anybody." Bucky agreed

"Sergeant Barnes. Hellhound" An officer let us passed

"And by the way, I called in some backup" sam added
"Excuse me, sir. Are you supposed to be here?" A person walked to us and I growled knowing that smell. They still trust her. I never will
"It's me." Sharon said pulling off a mask
"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky asked
"Relax. No one's looking for me here." She replied

"Do I hear Sharon?" Sam asked
"Unfortunately" I sent them

"Hey, Sam. I thought I'd get the band back together." Sharon joked
"Thank you. You're risking a lot coming here." He told her
"I hear pardons aren't all they're cracked up to be anyway." She mehed
"Depends on the therapist" Bucky shrugged nearly making me fall, so I jumped, grew to my hound size and walked alongside him

I could smell them, 'They're gonna move on the building soon. Be ready' I sent them

"No one's moving toward the building. Karli's not coming in."
"She's trying to force everybody out. East evac teams..."
