It's been four years, and I was staying with the Stark family for the weekend before I headed back to Natasha at the compound

I tossed and turned in my bed, nightmares haunting my dreams

I walked across the battlefield, bodies laid everywhere. The grass stained red from the blood of both sides. I limped between the people I protected for a short period of time, before him.
I looked at the body of a little girl, the words 'Witch' branded into her cheek. Other girls having the same wound, men having sword holes through them, or huge gashes and stab wounds. All this blood shed for what? For him to be satisfied in his so called 'Cleansing of European Witches'
He has been the Bain of my life for the last twenty years, going from village to village slaughtering entire families and towns were every the tiniest mention of witches was rumored

I was the last one standing.
As I walked forward, I saw a cloaked figure rising on the edge of the hill, a blood red sky behind him. His sword Dontolope digging into the soaked soil, my eyes hardened.
"YOU WILL NEVER BEAT ME DEMON!" He screamed
"I will, and when I do, the world will be free of your torturous ways and ruthless view of justice. You will never even get a chance to be judged in the afterlife, I swear on every flame in HELL! YOU WILL NEVER BE A GOD!" I screamed back shifting, sprinting on a broken leg
He tried to run, but my jaw was faster and I snapped his neck in two moves.
I shifted back to girl and searched his bags, finding the soul stone safely hidden in a leather pouch

I woke up with a gasp
"Aunty Ash?" Morgan asked shaking me
"Huh? Morgan?" I asked confused why the little girl was in my room
"You were having a bad dream again" she whispered and crawled into my bed as I lifted the cover for her
"I'm sorry if I woke you" I apologised
"No, I was sleeping. I wanted a story" she smiled shyly
"Oh? A story? Which one do you want?" I chuckled and pulled her closer to my side
"The one when you meeted Uncle Bucky" she smiled playing with the three rings around my neck
"I love how you call him uncle Bucky, you know that right?" I chuckled and nodded
"You said he your husband. Mummy says daddy is her husband" Morgan pointed out
"Yeah, yeah he was" i smiled at her
"Okay story time" I ended that before I cried

"Ok, on the 4th of July. I met a man named Bucky. Lied about his age, but I didn't care. he spoke broken English but the heart was there. In his eyes the sky and ocean blue" I smiled remembering Bucky
"No a real story Aunty Ash" she whined wiggling around
"Alright then" I tickled her sides
"When I meet Bucky, we were hiding. And, he helped me, he became my real friend, and he helped me train to fight as a human" I started
"Not as the Wolfy" she nodded proud of herself
"Yes, not as the wolfy. And he saved me from the bad men who were using my magic. Then, one day, Captain America showed up, and I helped him to save Bucky. Then your daddy helped us too. And Bucky and I went to a different place for a wee while, but then we came home" I smiled as she yawned under my arm
"And we helped your daddy fight all the bad guys with the Avengers. He was funny, always making jokes, he was kind, he used to make me cookies or buy me flowers on date nights. We used to have movie nights like we do, and we went to my castle twice, the place we went on holidays at Christmas? You remember?" I said
She nodded her sleepily
"And we used to have lots of fun practicing my magic, and training to fight to save little Morgan, and we used to go shopping or to Central Park. And he loved his motorbike, he used to take me on long trips upstate or to the beach." I smiled at my memories
I smiled as I heard snoring, Morgan had fallen asleep curled into me
"Goodnight Maguna" I kissed her forehead as I wrapped an arm around her protectively as I too fell back to sleep
