"Why in hell's name are apartments in Brooklyn so expensive" Bucky groaned as we left another apartment
"Because people like money, and people who like money are never good people" I offered holding his hand as we began our long walk back to the tower. It was too bright for there to be shadows. That's a lie, there were people shaped shadows everywhere from the scorching sun
"Fine, but why does that have to impact getting a nice place for us to live. I don't want to stay at the compound forever, I want us to have our own home" Bucky said softer
I sighed, a smile on my lips
"I dont know Buck, i dont know. But if we find a place that we really like. I can buy it on the spot okay? I'm rich remember, I've plenty of money for us to have a nice place." I told him kindly
"I want us to both get the apartment. I don't want to be inequal" he sighed "Besides, we'll get a house once I propose and we have our own family. We can live in the countryside, somewhere nice. Didn't you say Sam lived in a nice area?"
I nodded in understanding "I want it to be fair too Bucky, but I've more money, too much money that I've hardly any use for it. I don't mind buying it for us, it's just an apartment." I said and took a deep breath to continue
"Secondly, I didn't realise you were planning a proposal, or that you wanted to live in the countryside, which I think is a good idea. That way our kids have a safe environment to grow up in" i beamed

We just walked hand in hand happily down the street
An idea hit me "Bucky, why don't we stay at my castle until we find a place?" I asked the man
"You mean in Scotland? Just us?" He asked and I nodded excitedly
"How about it? Not like we're missing anything. And with the Avengers being benched we don't really have much to do" I grinned
"Let's do it" he nodded excitedly
I squealed and pulled the two of us into a shadow, popping out in our rooms in the compound

"Friday. Tell everyone we're going on a little holiday" I told the new AI
With Jarvis  in Vision, Tony had to upload the F.R.I.D.A.Y to everything instead
'Yes Ms.Hellhound' Friday replied
"Ready?" I asked Bucky excitedly
"Sure am" he nodded happy too

"BUCKY!" I shouted running around the woods
I heard chuckles around a tree, so I ran over. But there was nobody there
"BUCKY! I GIVE UP! YOU WIN!" I shouted annoyed now
"YES" he jumped out a tree landing in Natasha's favorite pose
I stared at him unamused
"Oh come on Doll. It was just a game, now you know how difficult tracking a person is when you don't use your powers" he smiled
"Excuse you. You made me not use any of my tracking skills, I'm capable of finding a person without my powers. You cheated and hid up a tree" I corrected him
"Fair enough" he put an arm over my shoulders

I just rolled my eyes, shifted to a golden hound and began to run.
'Come on James. We gotta keep you in shape, don't want you turning into a marshmallow' I teased looking over my shoulder
I saw him smile, shake his head and he chased after me
I barked in joy and kept running.

I didn't look around and tumbled to the side.
"Got ya" Bucky whispered in my ear, signaling my surprise capture
'Some warning would've been nice you know' I barked and licked his cheek sweetly
"Yeah, but that defeats the purpose of a hunt" he mimicked what I'd said when I caught him before last week
'Hilarious, really and truly you are. Now get off' I wiggled under his heavy body
"Only after a kiss" he turned my long muzzle to face him
My eyes filled with mischief as I licked his lips, purposely letting the drill stay
"Ewwwww" he whined and whipped his face of my neck fur

I chuckled and turned into a girl. I quickly wrapped my legs around his stomach, my arms around his neck as I slammed my lips on his.
In shock he jumped backwards, but that pulled me with him. Which resulted in me sliding slightly down his body so my ass rubbed against his always bulged, trousered area. With a shocked moan vibrating in my mouth
I pulled back from the kiss, laughing
"Don't laugh at me" he scolded as he stood up, his hands on the back of my ass to keep his hold on me.
"It's kinda funny though" I giggled
"Says the girl clinging to me like a koala bear" he smiled
I blushed and hid my face in his neck
"Better than walking back" I yawned sleepily cuddling into him as he walked us back to the castle.
