As I parked my car and approached the door, I couldn't help but look forward to the day ahead. It's only been a week since me and Kasumi's wedding, and every day is such a sweet, wonderful thing. We returned from our honeymoon two days ago and with both of us being free today, we figured we would enjoy the day together. However, due to unforeseen circumstances with my job, I was asked to come in and help with something with the promise of being able to return to my day off after it was done. After breakfast, I rushed over and tried to get it done quickly, but I still missed my chance to cuddle up with my cute wife all morning. But in spite of my lost time, I want to have a great day with Kasumi and after turning my phone to silent mode, I opened the front door and said "I'm back. It took a bit longer than expected, but I won't have to worry about them bothering me for the rest of the day."
As I entered, Kasumi came up to me and gave me a hug and with her arms still around me, she said "Welcome home honey."
"So I'm honey now?" I said, smiling
"I thought maybe it would be cute if we started calling each other by pet names. Did you like it?" Kasumi said
"It was definitely pretty wonderful." I responded. We then headed to the living room and began to cuddle together on the couch, my arm wrapped around her shoulder and her head resting on my shoulder.
"So what do you think we should do?" Kasumi asked "I love cuddling with you like this, but do you want to put on a movie and watch it together or something?"
"Oh, that reminds me, you remember the movie we watched on our first date? Apparently they recently released a sequel." I said
"Oh really? Is it anywhere as good as the first one?" Kasumi said
"From what I heard from a friend of mine, it's pretty good but there's some arguments online about whether or not something that happens later on was any good." I said
"Well, do you want to watch it?" Kasumi asked
"Sure, let me quickly rent it online." I said, reaching for the remote.
I rented the movie and played it on the tv. The movie continued shortly after the end of the previous and for the most part played into the main character having to balance his normal life, his new life as a spy, and his relationship with the heroine. For the first half of the movie, it seemed like mostly slice of life fluff, but in the second half, the main character is sent out on a mission to take down a rogue spy trying to uproot the country's government which I now understood as what the people online were arguing about. The story in the second half is good, but the main heroine ends up pushed off to the side and the main character's motive for the mission isn't quite as interesting in the last one, where he fought as hard as he did in the climax to save the heroine. Still, the movie was pretty enjoyable for both me and Kasumi.

After that, we ended up spending the afternoon lying together on the couch, watching shows and talking. When the evening came, Kasumi began to get up and said "I guess we should probably get dinner started."
"Is there anything I can help with?" I asked
"I was thinking of making my family's recipe, could you help prepare the vegetables?" Kasumi asked
"Alright." I said.
I got up alongside her and after pulling out an extra cutting board, me and Kasumi both got to work cutting the vegetables. It was pretty simple stuff, but it took a little bit, so together we got it done a little bit quicker.
Soon enough, we had diced an amount of vegetables that Kasumi said was about right and after since there wasn't anything else I could help with at that moment, I headed back to the living room while Kasumi got the soup itself started.
------------------------------------
Eventually, dinner was done, and with bowls full, we went and sat together at the dinner table. There, we ate our soup while talking about our previous topic as we did. The soup was good and the texture of the meat and vegetables inside added to it.
Once we finished eating, I took our bowls to the kitchen and I took care of the dishes. Kasumi was the one who did most of the cooking, so it's only right.Once I was done, I joined Kasumi back in the living room and we talked and did our thing while together for a while longer when as the sun outside began to sink below the horizon, and the world became darker, my eyelids became a bit heavy. I yawned again, and now leaning my head against Kasumi as she was to me, I slowly began to drift off into a nap.
It's been more than four years since I first met Kasumi, and for such a large part of the time I've known her, we've been in a relationship. Thanks to that, I've been able to be someone I never want to be apart from, someone who every single day I learn a tiny bit more about. I was lucky to find my other half and now, I'm lucky enough to be able to spend my future with her, us both loving each other with our entire selves each day.

A/n: Ending stories with a more open ended ending is harder than I thought!Anyways, this is the end to Non-stop Love Song. There were parts of writing this that I was pretty unsure of when I first started, but in the end, I just rolled with it and had a good time doing it. I'm decently happy with how this turned out and I had most of this planned back while I was finishing Dear Song. I hope you all enjoyed it too. With this, I'm halting my longer stories for two weeks so I can recharge my creativity for the story I want to do the best yet. I hope you all will join me there too.
And once again, thank you all for reading
