It's been a month since the restaurant opened. And within those few weeks the people was starting to notice the small restaurant that stood in one of the streets of liyue.

And a week since xiao last saw aether. He pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lighten it up. Puffing the smoke before placing them back to his lips.

"Ughh." A woman with a pair of purple eyes, Her light purple hair tied into waist-length twin-tails, topped by small odango-style buns resembling cat ears, Frowned softly at the smell of cigarettes. However the dark haired man paid no attention to her.

"If you want to smoke, Go outside." She said while placing her hand on her nose. Xiao nodded before exiting the room.

His feet lead him up stairs to the rooftop. Opening the door and looking at his shoulders to see if someone was in the rooftop. He nodded in satisfaction when he realized he was alone and went to the edge of the building. His arm placing on the railings while his hand support his chin.

He puff a smoke before removing the cigarette from his mouth. He stare at the buildings and houses from above. The building he was in was so high to the point that Cars have the same size as beettles making them extremely hard to recognize to whom they belong to.

"What are you doing here?" A trace of annoyance could be heard from the dark haired man.

Childe chuckled lightly before he revealed himself.

"Don't be angry kitten, I am only here to inform you about our progress." Xiao frowned from the pet name 'kitten'.

"Tsk." He click his tongue in annoyance before ignoring childe.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with your lover?" He ask coldly before  inhaling the smoke.

"Ah, Zhongli is on duty today so I can't spend time with him." Childe pouted and thought about his lover. Xiao nodded and exhaled a smoke.

"Then go bug someone else." He said with a scowl on his face.

"How rude, I'm not bugging you. I am here to say that our job for this month have already been dealt." Childe exclaimed while crossing his arms.

Xiao looked at him sideways before removing the cigarette from his mouth. Rubbing the tip of the cigar to the railing before throwing it on the trash bin.

"I see. Is that all?" He answered boredly before facing the ginger haired man. Childe grin and made a thumbs up. The taller male, after delivering his message to his companion, Immediately exited the rooftop. No one knows how bad it will end if he continue to annoy the shorter male.

"Tsk, I'll treat myself with a serving of almond tufo then." Xiao murmured as the image of aether flash through his mind. He frowned but decided to ignore it.

"Welcome." Xiao's entire being froze when he saw a particular man standing besides the doorway. Seeing the blond male smiling softly at him made his heart race.

Instead of feeling flustered his face revealed a frown. He doesn't like the way his heart beat.

"What would you like to order?" Aether spoke with great calmness before switching on another table. He was actually cleaning a table after the costumer left and he was also near the doorway when another costumer entered.

"A serving of almond tufo." Xiao ignored the beating of his heart and sat down on a table near the window. Aether stared at the strange man, Recognizing him as one of amber's friends.

"Coming right up." He said softly before walking towards the kitchen. Xiao stared at aether's back feeling a little lost.

Minutes later, aether came back with a plate full of almond tufo. He gently place them on the table before walking away. Xiao stared at the almond tufo and raise his arm, his hand holding a spoon as he scoop a spoonful of tufo. He slowly place them to his mouth and almost immediately the tufo melted when it touched his tongue and at the same time sweetness coated his taste buds making the frown from xiao's face loosened a bit.
