"X-Xiao..." Ganyu can feel herself heating up as she called xiao's name.

"What?" His annoyed tone rang in the room making ganyu even more nervous. She fidget with her nails, her eyes refusing to look at xiao.

"Umm, Remember what I said that I will find him?" She started.

"And?"

"I...Can you tell me about him? Not about his story! Just his appearance and name..." Her cheeks flushed once again when she remembered what she said earlier. What find him at any cost? God she doesn't even know the man's name!

"He have a blond hair, A slim body build, Golden Yellow eyes, And a fair skin. His hair is medium cut with choppy bangs and a long, braided ponytail." Xiao started to state aether's appearance and Ganyu hurriedly took her notepad and wrote everything what xiao said.

"His name is, Aether." Ganyu's hand stop when she heard what xiao said.

"Wait. Did you say aether?" Her voice was filled with shock as she stared at xiao. The dark haired nodded and leaned on the wall.

"The chef on that restaurant?" She questioned again. Xiao raise a brow and once again nodded

"I see..." She fell silent and went towards her seat. She opened up her laptop and begun typing.

"I will send his location to you in a moment." Ganyu's voice contained great seriousness as her eyes locked on the screen.

Xiao stayed silent and went to the large sofa. He sat down and waited for ganyu. He decided to stay and wait for her to finish.

Ganyu paid no attention to xiao as her hands flawlessly dance through the keys. Her eyes was filled with utmost seriousness. It felt like no one could shake her concentration, Not even the strongest earthquake can break it.

The screen was filled with many words and pictures. The only thing could be heard on the room was ganyu's constant typing. Xiao leaned on the sofa as his mind wandered. Again, He was thinking of aether snd the many reasons why he left him. He badly wanted to know.

"Tsk." Ganyu clicked her tongue before typing. It wasn't long when her eyes widen in disbelief as her pupils shook.

"X-Xiao." She called out as she stood up and went to xiao's side. Xiao raised his head to stare at her.

"What?"

"Is it possible that, He's a seku?" Her voice was quite as she uttered those words. Xiao's brows furrowed as he nodded.

"And he left? right?" She continued to ask xiao to confirm her suspicion.

"Yes." Xiao was starting to get annoyed by the constant questioning. He literally just told her yesterday.

Ganyu's face turned super serious. She faced xiao and spoke in a very serious tone.

"Xiao, I think I know the reason why he left." Xiao also begun to turn serious.

"According to the dark web, Seku's reside on the sakura nation, The same nation that is currently on war. And the reason why the nation is on war, is also because of the seku. The enemy wanted the race's power, and the only way is to barge into the nation and take every bit of seku, even if that means a war will occur. If aether is a seku then I'm afraid.....He is currently being chased. So the reason must be because, their location have been exposed." As ganyu uttered every word she could think of to explain to xiao, The dark haired male turned even more colder as each word drawn into him. His eyes was emitting great danger and his aura suddenly change. So the reason aether left him was because he's being chased?

'Wait. Now that ganyu mentioned it, Aether said he was being chased by the army. So aether wasn't lying about him being a seku?' Xiao could hear his heart beating as his eyes squanted.

"And that's not all. They wanted to capture the seku, so they could experiment them. They wanted to obtain it's power and the only thing they could achieve that is to examine and experiment on them." Ganyu continued and Xiao turned even more upset.

"They also don't feel pain, Physical pain to be exact. So even if you cut their arms apart, slit their skin, It'll be futile because they don't feel pain." Ganyu added. Suddenly everything dawn into xiao when he had sex with aether. So that's why the blond didn't feel any pain.

"Did you find his location?" Xiao asked as she stared at ganyu's eyes. Ganyu shook her head in disappointment.

"Not now but later. I promise xiao, I will find him at all cost." She promised before she stood up and went to her desk. Xiao blinked and grab his phone.

He will find aether no matter what.

"Aether." Lumine softly mumbled as she stared at her panting brother.

"You can put me down now." She ushered him and tried to get down from his back but it was futile because aether was holding her firmly.

"No. You stay and rest on my back." He commanded.

The smell of metal was dancing with the wind making aether crunch his nose. Blood was constantly dripping from lumine's thigh. Earlier, they had been spotted and was now running away from the army but amidst of their running, lumine was shot on the thigh so leaving no choice, aether carried lumine until they arrived at an abandoned park.

"But, They're not on our back anymore. You can put me down so I can tend my wound." She softly spoke. Although it was painful, she didn't dare scream because she doesn't want to aether to be worried as he is now. And besides she's already used to the pain. It wasn't new to her.

After a bit of hesitation, Aether place lumine down on the bench as she reach out for her backpack to get the first aid kit.

"I'm sorry..." Aether suddenly uttered. Lumine raised her head and gaze at aether.

She smiled softly and leaned in to kiss her brother's cheek.

"It's not your fault. Do not blame yourself aether." Her gentle voice soothe aether making the male smile. He was really lucky to have a sister like lumine.

"Everything will be alright sora. Do not dive into despair yet. As long as I live, I will protect you no matter what. Like what you did when we were still young." Her eyes squanted in delight when she remembered their memories when they were still children.

"Yes, Everything will be alright." Aether repeated, a small smile formed into his lips making lumine grin happily.

Despite smiling, His heart was still heavy.
