The aura at the restaurant was pretty dark and it stayed until lunch time. Aether wiped the sweat that was falling from his forehead.

Earlier he refused to tell lumine the truth and now, lumine's mood plummeted to the very ground. Even though the weather was nice, aether's whole body was dripping in sweat.

"L-Lumine." Aether nervously called out as his twin's peircing gaze shot at him making aether jolt up.

His sister was indeed scary.

He place the dish nervously on the counter and lumine roughly took it. After placing the dish, Aether immediately went back to the kitchen while gripping his chest.

He sighed and shook his head. He hoped by the end of the day, lumine won't be mad at him.

"Good afternoon, dear." An old lady softly spoke as she gaze gently at the blonde lady. Lumine turned her head and stared at the old woman.

"Grandma Lui. How are you doing?" Her gaze soften as he took the old woman's wrinkle hand and place it on her forehead.

The old lady's smile, widen even more and retract her hand.

"I am fine deary and can I get a tea, please." She ordered and went to one of the seats. Lumine nodded and went to the kitchen to inform her brother.

"A tea for the old lady? Make sure to give her some pastries, Okay?" Aether gently smiled while nodding his head.

Lumine exited the kitchen and went back to the counter.

'Hmm, Many people already noticed this restaurant. I think it's time to hire some helpers." She thought to her self while eyeing the full restaurant. Her heart was calm as she gaze at the eating costumer. She was hsppy that one of their dreams is almost fulfilled.

But everything have it's ending. After a couple of weeks they need to run again. For the army already reach the content of teyvat.

She needs to hide aether again.

"Lumine.... P-Promise me...That you will Look after your b-brother. I am so sorry...But I have to go b-back and check your father... R-Remember, I love you both.

"Now Run!"

Lumine snapped out of her thoughts when one of the costumer rang the small bell.

"Yes?" The little girl raised her head and she stared at the pretty lady at the counter. Her eyes sparkled.

"Do you have sweets that are shape like a bomb?" Lumine's face blank as she stared at the blonde kid.

"Klee! There you are." A lady with a grey-blue eyes and medium-length gold-blonde hair tied back into a ponytail, Yelp in relief as she entered the front door.

"Oh! Miss jean!" The kid who's name is klee, Jump happily when she saw the woman.

"Goodness! You shouldn't run off like that! What if you get lost? What will we do?" The woman named jean said in a mix of anger and relief.

"We're not in monstadt you know. We're not familiar with liyue." She added as she crossed her arms. Lumine just stayed still as she gaze at the dou. Are they perhaps mother and child?

"I'm sorry miss jean, But I was getting hungry but then klee smell the scent from the air so I followed it!" She explained as her head dropped.

Jean sighed and turned his head on lumine. Lumine's stoic face stayed unfaze as she stared back at the woman. The taller lady remove her gaze and lock them on the black board.

"What do you want to eat?" Jean asked. Klee placed her finger on her cheek seemingly thinking, what she should pick.

"I want to try that sakura mochi!" Klee said excitedly while tugging at jean's shirt. The woman smiled and went back to lumine.

"A serving of sakura mochi and a two glass of lemonade, please." Lumine nodded and went to the kitchen to inform aether.

After telling aether what the adult and child want. Lumine immediately went back to the counter but her movements stops and her whole beeing froze. Her pinkish lips went white from what she saw.

The army was here.

So without much of a thought she immediately went to the kitchen, grabbed aether and drag him at the spare room.

"W-What's wrong lumine?" Aether gaze at her sister with worry with a mix if confusion, However lumine didn't listen and exited the spare room. She immediately went to the back door and run to straight to her car.

"Go to the second apartment and wait for me there, I will be with you after I close the restaurant." Aether confusedly gaze at lumine.

"But we're still not approaching dinner. And are you sure you can handle this all?" Aether continued as she stared at his sister wo was fixing the seat belt. 

"It's fine. I promise you that." After a couple of seconds aether finally nodded his head and positioned himself.

"Alright, But be careful okay." Lumine nodded and retract her body from the car and leisurely went back inside.

Aether drove the car towards their second apartment feeling a bit lost. What happened to his sister.

His eyes darted from the road and stared at the park, Only for a small amount of time Before eyeing the road ahead.

As he step on the accelerator and his hair fluttered in the air and they swayed quite roughly.

Xiao who was in an alleyway saw aether passing by. His hands stop as he gaze at the blonde.

Where was he going in such a hurry? He was planning on visiting the blonde later but it seems like they went home quite early.

"P-Please! Do not kill me-"

*Bang*

Xiao let go of the trigger and his eyes glued at aether's back. Blood splatter on his cheeks and hand. Retracting his gaze before staring at the cold corpse.

His eyes lifeless as he wiped the blood off his face.

"Disgusting." He said in a whisper.

Xiao reach out for his pocket and upon taking the phone, he dialed ganyu.

"Track this plate no." He ordered and immediately hang up the phone.

Ganyu on the other side stare at her phone feeling a bit helpless. There goes xiao again.

Soon she received a text message that concern about xiao's request. She messaged it and told him that he will receive his answers in a few minutes.

"Interesting, xiao." She gently mumbled.
