Ch 67. So Many Moments For A Grand Wedding

AN: AHHH after the first week of being back in college is somewhat horrible. So much work. Just need to survive for the next 15 weeks.

The older CEO was awfully quiet which was scary to the younger CEO. From the moment (Y/N) found out about the pregnancy test, she didn't know what to exactly feel. Her mind falls back into wrong accusations. In seconds she thought that there is a potential chance that Lena cheated on her while she was away. She tried very hard not to assume that since she didn't give the youngest Luthor a chance to explain.

She decides to hold it off because it's her brother's big wedding day. She doesn't want to start something that they can't finish but it feels like they both started this internal battle and it's just waiting to explode.

When (Y/N) heads downstairs to her car, Lena rushes to get ready and leave. She debated whether to tell Sam or Kara about the situation she's in but she has no time for that. When Lena gets to the car, she sees (Y/N) there looking at the blue sky with a few fluffy white clouds slowly passing through. She was smoking a cigarette. That was a sign of keeping herself together.

The CEO with the car keys breaks her gaze with sky as she hears Lena's heartbeat coming close to her. She honestly could never get tired of listening to that certain rhythm but this time it isn't calm as usual. Lena's heartbeat was pounding a little too fast due to the stress and anxiety she was feeling.

(Y/N) gives her a good look but doesn't bother to throw a nice compliment to her girlfriend as she usually does whenever they go out together. Lena felt a little hurt although they both know that (Y/N) wants to compliment and tear that dress right off her for being incredibly sexy.

Manners don't die within (Y/N) despite how she feels. She throws her cigarette on the ground and lightly steps on it to put out the light. Lena's girlfriend unlocks the BMW M4 Coupe and opens the door for her. (Y/N) didn't need to say a single word as Lena automatically gets in without hesitation. The ride was uncomfortable as the silence grew between them. The two powerful women in one car. Both can solve nearly impossible tasks, intimidate people who dare to defy them but they cannot overcome this little obstacle as they feel like they might destroy something they can just create.

"(Y/N)-"

"Not now, Lena." The CEO interrupted her so quickly with eyes fixed on the road and hands gripping the wheel. "It's your brother's special day. We will discuss it later tonight."

The young CEO did not say another word and (Y/N) took it as she must have understood. Once they reached the church, (Y/N) threw her keys to the valet man instead of letting him open Lena's side of the door. (Y/N), being the gentlewoman she is, opens the door for her and sticks out a helping hand for her girlfriend. The press outside the church fire off their cameras to take good shots of the beloved couple. As usual, some reporters are shouting questions to them. A topic they want to write about for their front page covers.

(Y/N)! Are you going to propose to Lena anytime soon?!

(Y/N)! Lena! Did both of you have a small break? Are back together?

Lena! Lena! How does it feel to have (Y/N) back in National City?!
