Ch 68. Down The Rabbit Hole We Go

Everything is screwed.

This event will be ruined because someone thought it would be okay to dance with someone's girlfriend. Oh if they knew how much trouble they're going to be. With (Y/N) being on the edge of the state of being drunk and having a careless tipsy Jack playing fun and games is a must watch shit show.

(Y/N) escapes from Cat Grant's blockade and makes her way to the dance floor. Luckily for Cat, she was able to notify Jen of the situation. The best friend presses a symbol on her digital watch which notifies all her close friends who also wear a digital watch (made by Jen of course) that either her, any of them, or (Y/N) is in some type of trouble.

Their watches light up with the company's logo and send out certain vibrations alerts. Jen speed walks to (Y/N) and gets in front of her just like Cat did. Around the venue, Rex, Ben, Aubrie, and Ajay got the notification.

"Hey hey what's wrong?" Jen asks her best friend.

"Jen. Move." The CEO says with a serious nosy threatening voice.

Jen sees what's wrong when she sees Lena and Jack. Aubrie from the other side of the room also saw. Aubrie tells the guys to stop (Y/N) while she goes to Lena.

(Y/N) shoves her best friend to get to her destination. She's so close to where she wants to be but the guys are holding her back. It won't work since their CEO is much stronger than them.

"Hey Jack-ASS!" (Y/N) yells at Jack who's still holding Lena.

Cat, Jen, and Aubrie don't know what to do. What's going to happen can't be stopped. The band stops playing, everyone is now watching them. Some of them are enjoying this as if they were watching a drama series.

"Put your fucking hands off of my woman!" (Y/N) says with so much anger that it is frightening to some of the guests.

Jack let's go of Lena, she immediately intervened by being in front of (Y/N). Grabbing her by the face, trying to make her look at her instead of Jack. Trying to calm her down. To stop causing a scene.

The CEO didn't listen to her either. Jen and Aubrie pull Lena away with the help of Cat. She was arguing with Cat for not doing anything. Cat has already explained that it's out of her hands. Even (Y/N)'s friends can't stop her or else they would be in big trouble. Instead, they stood behind her. Backing her up if this will turn out more ugly. Anthony and Robert come rushing in but they don't want to stop (Y/N).

"Your woman? We're treating Lena as property now? What happened to being the gentlewoman you are, huh?" Jack chuckles with delight.

"She's her own damn person! But that woman you were just holding, is MY girlfriend!"

The man in front of her chuckles deeply again as if the next words he's going to say will win him all. The press is watching this unfold. The hired security were closing in but Lillian tells them to wait a bit, to see what the two CEOs are going to do.

"She's not yours, buddy. She'll get tired of you. She never really stays in a relationship for long. I mean come on. Just a few months ago, she was screaming my name in my hotel room."

What he said has a double meaning. He was talking about the night where Lena and him went out to dinner together and had sex that same night. The youngest Luthor regretted it even though (Y/N) and her weren't together yet. To (Y/N), she thinks that a few months ago meant that it was recent, the time where she wasn't in the country.
