Hey everyone! So, I just got back from visiting home. My flight was yesterday, and I realized yesterday morning that I had only written half a page of this chapter ....... so I finished almost the entire chapter today, because I really wanted to keep to my weekly update schedule. I think y'all are going to love this chapter, so I'm excited to see what you think! Hope y'all enjoy it! =^_^=

                              "I think he's a clairsentient."
"A ... a what?" Yeonjun decided to sit on the bed, slowly turning towards Soobin as he sat cross-legged. Soobin couldn't help but smile before speaking up.
"A clairsentient. They are people that can perceive things that aren't normally perceptible by others. So, rather than seeing or hearing the dead, I think Taehyun has a type of emotional awareness of the dead."
Yeonjun had his hands in his lap, his head tilted to the side as if he was a lost puppy. Soobin couldn't help but smile, his eyes turning into crescents as he looked at the boy endearingly. His teeth showed as he smiled, causing Yeonjun to smile as well. Soobin started to sit cross-legged as well, holding his hands in front of him as he continued.
"So, you know how Taehyun seems to sense when you're around?"
                              "Yeah?"
"I think he's picking up on your emotions. When you cried earlier just now, Taehyun suddenly became upset without any other reason to. Does that make sense?"
"Hmm, yeah, it does. So, when you were injured, do you think that's why Taehyun spotted you in the alley?"
"That depends. How did you feel in that moment?"
Soobin had trailed off slightly at the end, now looking down at his hands. It wasn't necessarily that he was nervous about what Yeonjun would say, but he wasn't used to being so vulnerable. Due to his quiet nature, he never had many reasons to open up to others, preferring to keep to himself.
"I felt ..." Yeonjun's eyes met Soobin's before he continued. "I felt ... distraught. As if my world was falling apart, and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I was watching you-" Yeonjun looked at where Soobin's wounds would be under his hospital clothes. "I was watching you die in front of me, and I couldn't help you. I was useless."
"Hey, hey." Soobin leaned forward, about to reach to hold Yeonjun's hands before he hesitated, settling for placing them directly in front of Yeonjun's lap. "You're not useless. You never were, and you aren't now. You may be the very reason I'm alive right now. I wouldn't call that being useless."
Yeonjun looked up to see Soobin looking at him with seriousness and sincerity. Yeonjun's eyes were becoming glossy, but he couldn't look away from the man in front of him. His mouth parted slightly, as if he was trying to make a motion to speak. Soobin smiled slightly, waiting for Yeonjun to speak up.
However, in the blink of an eye, Yeonjun had surged forward in the bed, now on his hands and knees as his face got impossibly closer to Soobin's. Soobin had instinctively leaned back at the fast motion, now leaning more on his elbows as his upper back was against the headboard of the bed.
