Hey everyone! Sorry I'm a bit late in posting today. I was having some internet issues, but we're back. So, when I started outlining this chapter, I had a LOT that I wanted to squeeze into it. So, guess what that means ...... wait for it ..... it's a long chapter! Quite a bit longer than usual too! But you know what that means .... y'all have to emotionally prepare yourselves. I will say, a lot happens in this chapter, so get ready! I hope you enjoy it! =^_^=

"Yeonjun. It's Yeonjun."

Soobin could see the shock written all over Taehyun and Beomgyu's faces. He could only glance up at them every couple of seconds, hoping one of them would break the silence. When he glanced at Yeonjun, he noticed that the pink-haired boy was looking at the two boys across the table, as if he was wary of what they'd say next. Taehyun and Beomgyu looked at each other before the younger spoke up.

"Soobin ... that's not funny." Taehyun's expression was a little twisted, as if he was trying to gauge if Soobin was joking or not.

"I'm not joking I swear." Soobin looked directly at Taehyun, a serious expression on display to try and convey that he was telling the truth.

"He's gone. He's not here." Taehyun was becoming rigid, his body tense but trying to stay composed. He took another deep breath, looking at the table before looking back at the boy across from him. "I'm sorry, but I think you're confused."

Beomgyu had reached for Taehyun's hand under the table, squeezing it lightly to try and comfort him. Taehyun couldn't help but be on edge, smiling slightly towards Beomgyu but being distracted by his emotions. He couldn't believe that what Soobin was saying is true.

"He is here. I promise." Soobin could see that Taehyun was still unsure, his facial expressions souring as the time passed by. "Let me explain. Your sway in emotions is related to spirits. Every time I've been around you and you had a mood swing, Yeonjun has been with me."

Soobin tried to explain it slowly in hopes that his nerves wouldn't get the best of him. However, after seeing Taehyun's expression not improve, he began to become afraid of what was to come. When he glanced towards Yeonjun once again, he saw a look of disappointment that glared daggers at the younger across the table.

"I've just been feeling off. This has nothing to do with Yeonjun." Taehyun took a deep breath and a loud exhale. "He's gone." Taehyun's eyes began to water as his emotions began to get the better of him, memories of his late best friend flooding his mind. "Just let him rest." Taehyun didn't feel the tear fall down his cheek until it hit his hand under the table.

"But ..."

"Soobin!" Beomgyu put an arm around Taehyun's shoulder, pulling the boy closer. "That's enough. Let it go."

"Let it go?" Soobin looked at them as Beomgyu whispered something to Taehyun, likely comforting the boy next to him. Soobin began to feel exactly how he felt when he was young, the anger of not being believed rising up to the surface. His fists closed tightly under the table before he stood up abruptly. "But he's right here!"
