We all sat around my large kitchen table. Gavin grinned at me and I grinned back. I never realized how much I missed him. Gavin wasn't like us. He wasn't gifted at all but he sure had a sense of humour and Anthony seemed to take a liking to him.

Grandma sat next to me and wouldn't let my hand go. Uncle Brian who was istting next to Mom, got up. "We're so glad to see you but now that you're here we have to get your side of what happened." He said. "Start from the beginning, I'll write everything down; we can make these notes so that the next Spirit will have even more information."

I took a deep breath and started talking. I told them about the beach and waking up behind a dumpster with no memory. I told them how I met Jason and the others and how I discovered anyone non gifted couldn't see, hear, or feel me. They listened intently as the words just streamed from my mouth. Once I started I couldn't stop.

I told them about the dreams of Lilly that eventually made me come here. Then the journey we made and all the things that happened along the way and the weird little creatures that followed us and blinded Anthony. I then told them about what had happened a few hours before and how I remembered.

Brian finished writing. "Incredible." He whispered, "Simply incredible." I turned to my grandparents. "I have some questions too." "Ask away," Grandpa said. "What exactly happened to me?" Grandma let go of my hand.

"All spirits are very resistant, if you're hurt very bad in battle, your body will go into a hibernation state and heal itself. What happened in your case has happened before but it is rare. You were hurt so intensely, with such dark energy that when your body went into the hibernation state, your spirit was ejected from your body. As a defense mechanism, your memory was wiped so that in your very vulnerable state the imps couldn't find you."

"This was different than a Shaman's astral projection though. From what Lilly told me, you were in our world and dimension where as when she astral projects she's in the world and dimension of spirit which is way too complicated for us to understand." I wrapped my head around this. It made sense. Anthony nodded in agreement. "I think I heard about that when I was a kid."

"Okay, well how did you get hurt Lilly? What happened? If you all were taking turns protecting the cave then why didn't you get her out of there when it was your turn?" Lilly brushed her hair back behind her ear.

"One day close to your arrival, The imps showed up. They had come before but they started coming more and more the longer you were gone. This time there was a lot of them and they were really agressive. I tried to fight them off but they overpowered me and spat that poison all over me. My arm had a cut on it from a fight a few days before and when the poison got in the cut it slowly spread throughout my body."

"There was nothing anyone could do. Your Grandpa came up and tried help but it was so far gone that nobody but you could help me. I couldn't leave the cave because the spiritual energy surrounding it gave me strength and slowed down the effects of the poison. As for everyone else, they did come up to the cave for their shifts. I wasn't always alone." I breathed out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Thank god my family didn't let her stay up there by herself. My family got up and started getting things ready for the party leaving us sitting at the table. It was going to be a while before everyone showed up so I decided a tour was in order. "C'mon guys. I was going to wait until tomorrow to show you around but now is a good time to do it."

They followed me out to the backyard and to the fence where the cows were grazing. "These are our cows, we have a small market stand in the supernatural town. It's not doing so well now that Dakota has everything under her control." Zoe smiled and patted one, "I love them!" She said and promptly hugged it around the neck.
