I was in a weird place. it was like a mall or something, I was sitting on the bench next to a wishing fountain It was cool and refreshing. I sighed and took in a deep breath. I could stay in a place like this for a while it was calming.

I sat with my eyes closed and just listened to the bubbling of the fountain and the silence. I felt a small breeze tickle my face. When I opened my eyes she was sitting next to me. She smiled. "Caleb!" she exclaimed.

"It was hard to find you tonight." she said looking worried. "Is everything alright? Are you alright?" Her pale blue eyes scanned me in concern. "I'm fine." I said "But who are you?" It was the same question I asked every night and she never gave me an answer.

I wanted to know her, hell it felt like I knew her, but curse my damn memory.  I could feel myself shaking free from the dream. Desperate to stay, "No, no" I said. "Listen you have to tell me something please just tell me if I know you." I pleaded.

She just looked at me with sad eyes. "I can't tell you that it's too dangerous. I have to tell you something quickly, it's important Caleb you have to find me I'll come see you when I can but you have to find me you don't have much time-"

the connection was cut short as I jerked awake. "Caleb are you okay man?" Jason was shaking me awake. "You were yelling, it woke me up." I just nodded at him feeling that ache creep back into my heart.

He looked worried but left without a word. I knew she was real, not just a dream she couldn't have been, her kind face was etched into my mind. How on earth would I find her? The question kept me tossing and turning all night and finally at 5 I was able to get a little bit of sleep.

I stumbled out of the room at around 10 feeling wide awake. Jason was still asleep so I took it upon myself to make breakfast. I never did it before, and couldn't remember how but it really couldn't have been that hard could it?

I was wrong. Halfway through microwaving some eggs, the microwave made a loud noise and caught on fire smoke poured from the door filling the room with an awful smell. "Oh hell!" I said as the fire alarm went off. Coughing on the smoke, I tried to turn the microwave off but that wasn't happening.

Jason lurched out of his room with his leg on backwards. "What's happening, who's there?" he said and locked eyes on the microwave "Shit" he yelled and hopped over. Zoe and Anthony burst into the room and Anthony had the microwave levitating into the sink in no time.

Once the fire was out and the alarm turned off, we burst into laughter. "What the hell were you trying to do?" Jason said fixing his leg. I blushed feeling embarrassed.

"I was trying to make breakfast but I don't really remember how." This provoked more laughter. "Well first of all you should cook eggs in a pan, and secondly you really shouldn't leave them on for 10 minutes."

Anthony laughed. "You look like hell man, want some coffee?" Zoe asked me. I shook my head. "No there's something I want to ask you guys. Is it possible for someone to communicate through dreams? Like a real person?"

Jason nodded. "Yeah Shamans can do it. Why?" "Every night I dream about this girl and it's the same girl every night and she talks to me like normally, but last night she was all worried and told me that I had to find her because I didn't have a lot of time." I explained.

"It's like I knew her or something but whenever I ask her she never answers and last night she said it was too dangerous." Zoe looked thoughtful. "That does sound like a shaman dream. Do they happen in calming places?"

I nodded. "Okay, well if it's that important I say we should find her. She might be able to help Caleb. Shamans don't really mess around with dreams unless its important or they're training." Anthony said.

"I'd like to find her but you guys have school." I added. "Plus I was planning on enrolling next semester." Jason waved a hand. "Screw school I say we should find her. I got to talk to my mom first though." He picked up the phone and left the room.

We were talking about how we were going to find her when I felt a breeze flow through the room. I looked around. No one else noticed. What the heck?

there was this whispering noise coming from everywhere. It was like a thousand voices whispering I couldn't really tell what they were saying. It was coming from the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. Voices surrounded me and immersed me. I looked around the room but no one was there. I could see a flickering dark shape in the corner. I stood up and stared.

It was faint but definitely there. I heard one whisper loud and clear above the others. "Look for me. Go north." It was her voice.
