It's Thursday, the day Nathan is planned to leave... I get J and myself up and dressed. Anna and Mickie have gotten me and Jackson our own rooms at their house, this is why they are family. The two of them are still getting ready, so I go downstairs to make breakfast for all of us. Jackson and Rain are in the living room playing with their build-a-bears.

It was time to go to the airport and say goodbye, I was still fucking pissed at him for this, but I went so he could see Jackson before he left and vice versa. "Jackson, baby, you ready to go see daddy?" I asked him. He came running in with his frog he named Jumpers, and nodded his head. "Okay, go see if Aunt Anna and Mickie are ready." He runs up the steps with Rain behind him. I sigh and lean against their island in the kitchen. I so do not want to do this, but I'm doing it for Jackson. No matter what, I will not let J see me and his dad fight. It's not happening.
Jackson and Rain coming running down the steps, "Hey! Be careful on the steps! Take your time." Anna and Mickie come down after them, "Let's go."
They go into their car and J and I get in mine- er, the car they're letting me use since I took the one back to my house.
When we get to the airport and get inside and we're close enough to Nathan, Jackson goes running to him. I sigh and try to control my anger. Stop burning holes into his skull, Addie. Man I need anger management classes or something.
"Hey J, come here for a second," Mickie tells Jackson. He comes running back and waits as she pulls... An IPad out of her purse... Or two... The hell? Alrighty then. "Take this one to daddy, okay?" She says and hands him the other one. He nods and runs back over there and hands it to him.
"They both have unlimited WiFi on them, so they can FaceTime anytime," Anna tells me, I nod in response. The lad at. the gate comes on the intercom thingy. "Two minutes until boarding... Two minutes before boarding. Thank you."
"Jackson, we should let daddy go now..." I tell J and he looks at me and nods. He's trying not to cry. I bend down to his level and whisper to him, "Baby, it's okay to cry." He nods and a tear falls. I turn him to Nathan and let him say goodbye before I pick him up and hug him.
"Add-" "Save it. Please..." I tell him, "Be safe... for J..." he nods, "I will, I promise." I nod back and start to walk away. "Daddy..." Jackson says and my heart breaks,"I know, baby. I know..."
