Anna looked at me and smiled. "Adryan Amanda, I've liked you for a while now... So I was wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend?" She asked calmly.

How the hell is she so calm asking me this?!

I have liked her, it's just, every time I thought about a relationship with her, I was in one, or she was.

I stared at her. "Yes, Anna, I'd love to be your girlfriend," I said and grinned, earning one back form her.

The rest of the ride home was silent, but it wasn't uncomfortable.

We got home and I told Anna to wait in the car as I went inside.

"Okay, Rain, go on." I said as I handed her the step stool.

I gave her the step stool so Anna didn't have to bend down to her level because I knew she was still in pain. So hopefully this helps.

I followed Rain outside and stood by the door, watching Rain put the stool down and talk to her mother. I could see tears in her eyes and she glanced at me, wanting an explanation, which I just shook my head.

I saw them talking and then saw Rain kiss her cheek. A tear escaped from her eye and rain wiped it away before Anna kissed her cheek and sent her back inside.

She slightly ran by me and I followed her to see where Jackson was.

I knocked on his door and he opened it slowly, peering through the crack at me.

"J, can I come in?" I asked. He opened the door fully, allowing me access inside.

I picked him up and kissed his forehead. "Guess what." I told him.

He cocked his head to the side, "What?"

"I missed you!" I grinned and startled tickling him, making him squeal.

"Mommy, stop!" He said in between laughs.

I heard Anna yelling at somebody and figured I should go down.

"Okay, okay. I'm gonna go see if Aunt Anna needs help now. Be good, alright?" I told him.

He nodded his head and I left going downstairs, walking into the living room at the same time Anna sunk to the ground.

I went over to her and sat beside her, trying my best to comfort her. I hugged her and didn't let go until she did first.

She was just too stubborn to say she needed me, but I knew she did, so I stayed. There was no way I was gonna leave her. Not now, not ever.

I know Mickie irritates her, and it hurts her, and it's not fair. I know I shouldn't be worrying and stressing myself out because it could potentially hurt my dear baby, but I couldn't help it. She's my girlfriend, of course I'm gonna fucking worry about her.

I remembered I had an appointment later today, to make sure my child is doing okay.

I looked at Anna and realized she fell asleep. I gently shook her awake, even though I didn't want to, but I had to pee.

She apologized for falling asleep and helped me up before leaving to check on Rain as o went to the bathroom.

When I was done, I quietly crept to Rain's room to watch.

After a few minutes I left and headed to the kitchen, I didn't want to be caught and I was hungry.

Perfect timing too, because as I was searching for food, Anna came into the kitchen and asked, "Hey, love. Do you wanna go and get some ice cream? And then drop Rain and J off with my mom so they can spend some quality time with grandma and play?

"That's a perfect idea." I said.

She nodded and went to get Rain as I went to get Jackson ready.

I knocked quietly on his door and smiled as I heard his footsteps coming towards the door.

He slowly opened the door and I smiled at him. "Wanna get ice cream and then go to grandmas?" I asked him.

He grinned and nodded, running around his room to gather toys and such.

He put everything in one of his book bags and looked at me. "Ready?" I asked, holding out ,thank. "Yes!" He said excitedly, taking my hand and starting down the steps.

I laughed and headed out to the car, placing J in the back where Rain was.

We got ice cream and started the drive towards Anna's mom's house.

I started to doze off once Shinedown was playing with Rain and Jackson humming along.

You can totally tell Rain is Anna's child, they're both either humming or singing. I don't have a problem with it though.
