Sage opened her eyes lifted her head and looked into my eyes and suddenly just kissed me. This time felt different. I felt a strong feeling in my heart with it beating faster and faster. We stood up and thats when it happened Sage slipped and slowly started sliding I tried to grab her but she slid to fast. I thought I was going to lose her so I screamed noooo I love you. She was able to luckily grasp onto the side. I used all my strength to pull her up. I embraced her in a hug and moved her hair outta her face and kissed her.
" I can't believe I almost just lost you".I said with my heart feeling like it was beating outta my chest. "You saved me". She said with a confusing look on her face. "I would protect you with my life I said". "You shouldn't there's something I need to tell you..." she said with a sad long taking over her face. "What is it" I said. "I haven't been completely honest with you. When I came up to you at the college it was because my friend bet me I couldn't get you to fall for me". She was looking at the ground as she said it. She couldn't even look me in the eyes. I couldn't believe it I was at a loss for words. I just walked away and climbed down the ladder back inside. I found a broken piece of the wall and threw it as hard as I possibly could. When I turned around Sage was right there. I couldn't help but yell "Stay the fuck away from me I don't have time for more of your lies I don't wanna see you again. "At least let me take you back to the dorms" she mutterd. "Fine but after that were done". We went outside but soon were embraced with a heavy rainfall. Great this is just my luck I thought. We went back inside dripping in rain. My whole body was shivering. Sage took off her heavy leather jacket and placed it over me. " Look A, I never meant to hurt you" she said. "Oh so only getting involved with me over a bet wasn't meant to hurt me. I gave you my first kiss, my virinity. That's all gone now because all I was was just a bet. She placed her hand on my chin. Still making me feel weak. I wanted to push her away but apart of me couldn't. "A, I know it started as a bet but once I got to know you it became real. I really really care for you more then I'd like to admit." She tried kissing me but I pushed her away. My whole body filled with anger. I threw her jacket at her. I didn't care I just went outside and called Kelsey to come get me. I was willing to wait in the freezing rain then be around Sage right now. I waited shivering with tears escaping my eyes. Kelsey arrived" What happened to you" she said. I explained everything to her. "I can't believe she did that to you" Kelsey said. I sat there in silence staring out the window. Trusting and forgiving this girl time and time brought me nothing but pain...but I still wanted her and only her. I was an idiot but I was an idiot in love.
