Wassup everyone, Inky again this is a new story, the idea being it is a rich man who has lost everything to greed, being reincarnate into a poor person in a fantasy world

All elements of the story are fictional any resemblance is pure coincidence

Kenshin was born from nothing, he was poor when it came to possession but when it came to love? He was the richest man alive. His mother was a teacher in preschool, she was the kindest, prettiest woman he knew, whenever she would enter a room, it would light up, Kenshin always noticed how people would smile as they saw her. His father, he was amazing, a real role model, he was a lawyer, a pro-bono lawyer, a man of justice Kenshin though, no he was more than that, he was a detective, he was asking question, discovering the truth. Kenshin though his father was the greatest man alive. At the age of five Kenshin understood the value of love was greater than the power of money. That why, he was bullied at school every day, that's why he had to go through garbage to eat his fill, but did it matter? No because to Kenshin, his parents we're the greatest, they matter, they made the world a better place. On his sixth birthday Kenshin knew how much they love tea, yet lately they didn't drink it anymore, he didn't understand was money an issue? Kenshin knew it was better giving than receiving, he knew of a small herbal shop, rumor had it that the owner was extremely weird, "crazy" they had called him. Kenshin went to the shop, he had no money but his mother often spoke of stranger kindness, who knows the owner might be kind enough.
- hello said young Kenshin.
No answer
- Hello, he tried again.
The owner wasn't there, how odd, he taught. He noticed a door, was the owner behind it? Did he have to wait? No, he loved his parent enough to get in trouble " he taught " laughing. Kenshin was a troublesome child, he remembered younger thinking, that if he created problem his father would have more work, more money would be coming home, they would be happier. He had developed a taste for mischief, small stuff, but what else was he going to do, he didn't really have toy, nor friend he thought sadly. In the middle, of his reflection he had already cross the room. He stumbled upon a very large and beautiful greenhouse , how could such a small store house have such a huge greenhouse
- Oh right, tea leaves, he remembered
But he didn't know, what they look like, there was so many plants around. He looks and look, till he found one plant, it didn't look special, but it smelled so good, he never smelled something so good, he started to put leaves in his pocket. Kenshin knew stealing was wrong, but he had remembered one of his dad story, one of his customer, the woman had been caught stealing, she was guilty, they had lost the case, he remembered his father being sad about it, when Kenshin had ask him why he was sad, his father had explained to him that the woman wasn't a bad person she just had no other choice.
- Well, well what do we have here, said a soothing almost melodic voice. Kenshin look up and saw a man, he was old but still look strong, the stranger had a large build, kind eyes and a warm smile, that when he noticed his very pointy ears, how odd. He started giggling
- Are you stealing young man, the old man asked
The owner was shocked, there was this little kid, stealing from him and he was giggling , his eyes were pure, there was no ill intent behind them, there was something about this kid, the old man didn't know what but something was making him smiled.
- I'm sorry sir, it's my birthday and I wanted to make some tea for my parents, so we can all celebrate, simply said Kenshin still giggling
- What's got you giggling young one, said the man, still shocked by how this kid was acting
- It's your ears, mister, they are so pointy , mines are round you see
The old man was speechless, this kid was making fun of him, stealing from him yet he seemed so pure, he must have been a good kid. He started to laugh, this little devil he thought.
- Those aren't tea leaves, son come let me show you, said the old man.
- I don't have any money sir, said Kenshin sadly
He had stop laughing, he seemed sad, no kid should be this sad, the old man though. Especially a kid that ooze life as much as this one.
- Tell you what kid, it's your birthday call it a gift, and stop calling me sir, the name is Thrandull.
Kenshin started to laugh what an odd name, he didn't understand why people called him weird, he seemed kind.
- Sure si.. I mean Thrandull , he said with an innocent smiled
Thrandull brought kenshin to a plant a very exotic looking one with pointy leaves. After they picked a handful Thrandull asked about Kenshin life , he felt bad for the kid, he was pure yet had it hard, he decided he'd help the little thief.
- Thanks m. Thrandull, said Kenshin
- Wait kid, come tomorrow after school, I need a worker, you are hired.
- Jeez thank you sir, said Kenshin I'll be back I promise.
As Kenshin was leaving the door, Thrandull
asked him.
- What your name kid ?
- Its Kenshin said the little one.
Thrandull burst out laughing, Kenshin meant modest, and truth. He had been stealing from him less than an hour ago, how odd was life sometimes .
