Baal x Reader 2

It was an early morning for you, as you gently felt yourself waking up.

It was always so easy to sleep away all your time in Inazuma, where it remained so peaceful through the night, and into the morning.

Rubbing your eyes slowly, you slowly regained your senses. It was a very important day for you, and you had to make sure you were ready for it. While you still felt tired, you knew that you couldn't prolong this any further.

And you were just about to get up and start your morning routine, but you soon felt an unusual force, keeping you locked onto the bed.

Looking down in confusion, you soon realised that two slender arms were wrapped around your sides, as well as a leg hugging your own. You felt a smile adorn your lips as you turned around, facing your wife.

Outside of bed, Baal wasn't like this at all; she was very much reserved woman who would keep her arms by her side at all times.

However, mornings seemed like an exception to this rule – she'd always find some method to wrap herself around your own body, enjoying your natural warmth, whilst she slept. You'd never told Baal about it though, since it always brightened your day to see her warm smile, as she cozily cuddled you.

Although, it felt a bit more unusual this morning; this was the first time your wife held a grip this powerful.

Deep down, you knew why.

You had to leave soon. You had told her about your family trip to Mondstadt a few weeks in advance, and how it would be a few days until you returned back to Inazuma. You wanted her to come with you so badly at the time, but she had to protect her region, and you accepted it.

At the time, she seemed to be indifferent to your words, but, from the way she grasped your body like a soft toy now, it seemed like it wasn't fully the case.

Truthfully, you had expected this to happen. You could see her mood dampening in her eyes with every passing day, with the last few days being some of the most unbearable to you. This was the first time in your entire relationship that Baal would be separated from you for longer than a day, and reality seemed to hit her too late.

And now today was the day. You had until the afternoon to mentally check everything, before you absolutely had to go...

You softly pried your wife's arms off from your body, trying your hardest not to wake her up, before you unlocked the legs that she had wrapped around yours. It made you blush with how clingy she was today, but it also made you feel a twinge of sadness that you wouldn't have moments like these for a while.

As you were about to sit up, you suddenly felt felt someone pushing you back into the bed.

"No..."

You gasped lightly, as you felt two hands wrap around you once again, forcing you to lie on the bed.

"Don't leave... yet..."

Baal groggily whispered, her eyes still closed, as she leaned in towards your body. You could feel her hot breaths on your back, as she indulged in your presence. It felt like she was hugging you with an even tighter grip too.

"Baal..." You say, turning around again.

Her eyes were now open slightly, and you could visibly see the red blush on her pale face. Even though your heartbeat rose at the sight of your wife looking so pretty, you knew that you had to go. "I don't want to leave you either, but I need to get ready."
