"Who's that?" Lenny asked. His voice was a whisper.

"That's my brother." He just sat there. "Hide!" I whisper yelled at him. He scrambled and hid under my bed just before Barry opened my bedroom door. "You realized you just invited yourself into my apartment and walked straight into my bedroom? What if I was naked."

"Well, I'm sorry, but you weren't answering the phone or my constant knocking on the door."

"Doesn't mean you can come into my bedroom."

"I-" I cut him off.

"What's so important you barged into my apartment?"

"Meta alert."

"So what?" I handle meta alerts all the time on my own, so go." He reluctantly turned around. I prayed that he didn't use his super speed because if I'd forgotten, my criminal boyfriend was underneath my bed. Barry walked out, but just before the door closed, he used his speed to run away. I silently cringed and closed my eyes, hoping that Lenny didn't see anything.

"Did you see that?" He asked while he crawled out from underneath my bed.

"See what?" I asked, pretending to be clueless.

"Your brother was woodshed away. Is he working with the streaks too?" My heart skipped a beat before calming down.

I sighed, half regretting what I was about to say. "Yes, he works with the streaks too." He is one. And I was the other, so surprise! You're a criminal dating a hero!

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because it's not really mine to tell." I raised my voice slightly.

"What? Do you not trust me?"

"I mean, can you blame me? We've been together for ten days and in those ten days, you already kidnapped my childhood best friend and tried to kill one of the streaks I work with. And you're a criminal."

"You just told me you didn't see me that way." He raised his voice as well.

"But you are Leonard! You are a criminal." I looked down at my feet. "You know what, it doesn't matter. I'm going to go make sure that my team doesn't get themselves killed, so I will see you later." I turned around quickly and grabbed my phone and keys. I turned down the hallway of my apartment building, just in case, before using my super speed to run back to S.T.A.R. Labs.

"Check the math. Your dispersal models don't correlate." Caitlin told Cisco as they walked out of the elevator.

"Uh, they do if you factor in the season fluctuations in reproduction cycles." Cisco responded, neither one of them acknowledging me.

"What exactly are we debating?" I asked them as we walked into the cortex.

"The average number of bugs you and Barry swallow in a day of running." Caitlin said simply.

"I look forward to seeing you accept your Nobel." I said sarcastically as we turned to the cortex. Once we did, we saw Barry lying there on the floor unconscious. "Barry!" I ran to his side and checked his pulse. He was alive.

"Barry, are you okay?" No answer. He was unconscious.

"Hold on." I told them. I turned back to my brother and slapped him hard across the face, waking him up.

"What was that for?" He asked me confused.

"To wake you up."

"You know smelling salt works just as well."

I dropped his head back on the floor. "He's okay."

"13 fractures." Caitlin told me and Barry. "That's a new record. And that's just in your hand." She said as she adjusted the cast. "You also have a concussion, three cracked ribs, and a bruised spleen." She added. "Even with your powers, you'll need a few hours to heal."

"What exactly did you hit?" Wells asked from the corner of the room.

"A man." I looked at him confused. "A big, bad man. His skin changed when I hit him. Like, it turned to metal." We all looked at him intrigued.

"Interesting. A man of steel."

"Not interesting." I told Wells. "He almost killed Barry." I turned to face my brother. "Sorry by the way." I rubbed my fingers through his hair.

"It's okay sis."

"So, you went after a meta human alone?" Cisco asked Barry. "Dude, why didn't you call us?"

"In his defense, he called me." I defended him. "Well, actually, he showed up to my apartment unannounced and I told him to deal with it on his own."

"I didn't know what he was. Besides, I was off duty." He added to defend himself.

"You're lucky he didn't knock out your teeth." Cisco said, ignoring Barry and Caitlin's glances. "Those puppies don't grow back."

"The strange thing is that I felt like I knew him."

"What do you mean?" I asked him confused.

"He said something that was familiar, but he's gonna hurt someone if we don't stop him." He pointed out.

"So, how do we stop a guy who's made of steel?"

"We will find a way." Wells reassured me. "Tonight you heal." He pointed at Barry.

"Bar, I'm sorry about before. I had a guy over and I didn't want to see him use your powers or find out about what we do."

"It's okay sis. I'll start knocking. And if that guy is still at your apartment, you might want to get back to him."

"Yeah, he's probably more pissed at me than when I left." I nodded my head and ran back to my apartment.

"Lenny? Lenny, I know your probably mad, but can we just ta-" I paused when I opened my bedroom door. Lenny was gone and there was a note in his place.

I had to leave town in the morning, but I decided to leave early. I don't know when I'll be back, but I don't think it's going to be anytime soon. You know, because a criminal's schedule is unpredictable.

-Leonard

I immediately picked up my phone and dialed Lenny's number. Voicemail. "Lenny, please call me back. I'm sorry. I said some things that I regret, so please call me back so that we can talk and sort this out. Please." I hung up the phone. I didn't bother to do anything, but go to bed. My min filling with horrible thoughts as I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. One question rang through my head; what the hell did I do?
