"In the last," I looked at my watch, "Four hours, you all found that I was the super hero, Velocity. Now, you have questions. I have answers. And before any of you ask; No, Iris, no writing about Velocity saving you, Lenny, I will not tell you who the Flash is, and Lisa, just please don't shoot my friend." I sped to my kitchen and poured all of us drinks before sitting back down. "Now, where to start?"
"So you're saying you are Velocity?" Iris asked me. Lisa just turned to Lenny and looked at him disappointed.
"Lenny, why would you slum it with this hero?" She looked at me like she was a Montague and I was a Capulet. Lenny didn't answer. He simply sat there, pressing gauze against his shoulder, staring me down.
"Why didn't you do anything at the station? I mean before you stopped Tockman for shooting us."
"Because, I could fool Tockman." I explained. "But not a room of cops. Look, Barry and I work with the flash. We also work with three other people, whose identities will remain secret. We decided to keep our identities secret, so nothing would happen to us."
"Why didn't you save Eddie?"
"I- Something happened with my powers. We were dealing with a meta- somebody who has abilities just like the Flash and I. He stole the Flash's powers while I came here to take care of you Lenny." I turned to my boyfriend who was still silent. "Our team thinks me and the Flash are connected. Because of our speed. When Eddie got shot, I was seriously frozen. But when Tockman took us to kill us, something flickered. I've never gone that fast before, Iris." I explained.
She sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Can you speed me to the hospital? Eddie's probably wondering where the hell I am."
I got up and placed my arm around her. "He's probably too high on pain drugs to remember." I sped her over to the hospital before going back to my apartment.
"Where's Lisa?" I asked as I took a seat across from Lenny.
"She thought it'd be best to give us some time to talk." He explained.
"Now I guess you'll be forced to talk to me." I took a sip of the beer I had set down earlier.
"I knew." I spat my beer back into the bottle.
"Excuse me."
"I knew that you were-are Velocity."
"How?"
"Princess, please, I can see right through you. Plus, you always get here a little too quick."
"Fair enough." He went to open his mouth again, but I stopped. "No matter how much sex you give me tonight, I won't tell you who the flash is."
"Fair enough." He took a sip of his beer.
