Chapter 25 ~ New Beginnings

First Month, First Week.

Faylinn had a lot a trouble with sewing. She had pricked herself so much that her fringer was sore and red. The three year old Jason could do better then her! Speaking about the small children, Kato and Faylinn met another, Helena. Helena seemed a bit akward around them but she was friendly later on.

Kato's body ached every day as he worked with Damien on his and Faylinn's house. With his height it did help with putting up beams and other things. As the two worked on seperate things, they started to notice lttle things, but not to much.

First Month, Second Week.

Faylinn had gotten cooking easily, but doing laundry was horrifying for her. How was she suppose to do this? Seregbis showed Faylinn over and over until she got the hang off it.

The children visited often, helping them from time to time or just fooling around generally. Faylinn started to relax more, same thing with Kato. Not only did they start to relax they started to adjust to the Free Land.

First Month, Third Week.

The new house had made huge progress. Faylinn and Kato also made huge progress in the ' Free Land ' and their relationship. Seregbis and Damien started to become great friends to the two foreigners and the children as well. Their old home was starting to disappear from their memories, they were starting to forget the bloodshed and war, slowly but surely.

Although, not everyone was doing okay from those memories. Faylinn was having nightmares about Lucy and the others and maybe two elves were not handling it well and their nightmares may have gotten worse.

Second Month, Second Week.

The house was almost done, in fact only a few things needed to be done before the furniture needed to put inside the new furnished house. Painting, building and some other things still needed to be done but this house going to ready by next week.

Faylinn and Kato grew much closer over the few course of a few weeks, but thats what happens when they are the only other person who can understand your point view.

Secon Month, Third week.

It's done. Everything was done. Kato and Faylinn had moved into their new house, small but doable. Faylinn managed to make some clothing for them both and some shoes as well.

Hours started to pass, soon hours to days, days to weeks and weeks to months. How long has it been since they left? 4? No, 13 months. a year and a month. Faylinn and Kato helped Seregbis and Damien daily with their chores, sometimes going into town with them or out in the fields.

" Hey Kato, can you head over to Lillian to get some materials? " Faylinn asked the rusty coloured haired man as she twirled around stood in the doorway with apron on and a lidle in her hand.

Kato turned and walked towards the doorway, looking over her before answering.

" Sure, what do you need? And what are you making for dinner? " Kato asked he smelled the auroma.

" I need some fabrics from Lillian and I'm making some pasta. " Faylinn responded looking behind her for a moment before turning back and being met with a pair of cold lips. Faylinn golden orbs widened. Kato pulled away and smilled.

" I'll be back soon. " Kato skampeered out of the house to fetch the things she needed.

Faylinn blushed a deep red. Her face was as red as a tomato. She was speechless. Her mind turned to mush. She opened her mouth but closed it. She looked down the hallway, to the kitchen and then straight forward. Her hand went up to her mouth, smilling a bitterly. Soft tears come down her cheeks.

" Lucy.. . You were right the whole time. .. " Faylinn looked down as the tears continued and her bitter smile.

17 Months had pass since they appeared in the Free Land. Kato and Faylinn were now enjoying themselves as they played with children playing some board games and other games. But somehow it landed with Kato down on bended knee and proposing to Faylinn. She smiled sweetly and tackled him to the ground giving him a yes.

The children squealed and ran out and telling the whole town in pure happiness. The wedding wasn't far from the day he proposed to the feary. Sealing it a kiss and enjoying the rest of their with friends and by themselves. .. I will not go into detail.

26 Months later a child was born. A girl, a beautiful girl. The child was named Elise, Elise Viata. ( Via-ts ). Surprisingly for both of them the child didn't have wings or a tail. She practically looked human if it weren't for her ears. Her ears were pointed but not too pointy to be recognized as an elf, and not to curved to look like feary or even siren ears.

As the child grew, her looks changed. She had brown curly hair and heterochromatic eyes. One was a dark green while the other was dull gold. Her vision in her left eye was a bit blurred, but that's the cost of having heterochromatic eyes.

At the age of 6 of Elise, she and her parents discovered she was able to use magic. Plant magic, the power to control plants and plant like things. How did they discover it? Well, Elise saw a rose wilting and touched its petals, which brought it to a full bloom.

Years went by and she learned to control them and use them to her advantage. Sometimes Nathan would come along and help her with her magic and during those visits, maybe both of them grew a little crush.

" Elise! Can you go help your father in the fields? " Faylinn called to her 12 year old daughter. Elise responded with a smile and nodded. Skipping to the door and out.

" Papa! Mama, said you needed help with the fields! " Elise smiled brightly as she stepped down the stairs from her porch. Kato smiled and looked up to his daughter waved her over.

" Indeed I do. Come 'ere " Kato said then looked up into the sky. ' It's a great day. Another peaceful one at tha- what is that? '

Something off in the distance catches the merman's eyes. A black mass at that, coming from the direct of the white forest. Kato continued to stare at the black mass, until it started to spread out. Showing small figures with wings. His eyes widen.

The Fearies won? They Fearies won. They won the war.

Kato immediately look behind him, his daughter making his way towards him while his wife was cooking lunch.

" Elise!! Get back inside! Now! " Kato bellowed, causing Elise to freeze. " I said get back inside! " Kato said again running after her and ushering her inside.

Pushing the door open with force, probably breaking it. Her yelled to Faylinn in panic and urgency.

" Faylinn! We have to leave! Now! Let's go! " Kato was trembling. The Fearies had won. The fearies had won. It chanted inside his head. Faylinn immediately came to door with confusion in her eyes but followed his command anyway. " Tell the others that the Fearies are here. Go, now. "

Faylinn's eyes widen but before taking her leave she looked at Elise before locking eyes with Kato.

" Don't worry, we will be with Seregbis and Damien. Go, tell the others before its to late. " Faylinn gave one last look at them before running out the door and flying fast towards the others.

Kato then picked Elise up and ran towards their friend's home. Hopefully they would be safe there for the attack.

' Faylinn, make it back safely. ' Kato thought as he barged through their door called out that the Fearies had won the war and we're now here.
