--------------
As Kato and Faylinn arrived back to their camps along with, their uh, dead teammates. The soldiers around them stop and stared. They stopped doing their errands for their superiors and stared at them in disbelief.
" What!? Are you just going to stand there and stare?! Or are you going to help me?! " Faylinn yelled in rage. Saying this, snapped them back into reality. A lot of soldiers came and helped her with the small wagon that held the dead soldiers.
As they took the wagon, along with other things. Faylinn stormed off over to the medical tent, she didn't have to go the tent since she was clearly fine but she felt like she had to go and hopefully something will repay her for going there.
As her hand reached out to grab the soft fabric and rip open the doorway and probably yell at them to give up the location of her commander. Voices on the inside stopped her from doing so.
" Are you nuts!? Sending our best soldier out for that curtain patrol! Have you gone Mad?! " A deep voice said.
" Even though she is our best soldier, she must then be put on a hard patrol. Sir. " A voice seemed to be threatening yet calm.
" No she doesn't! And you know, doesn't matter how high their rank is, we will lose a good soldier Colonel! Your asking for her to be on a death sentence! "
" Sir, I do not wish her a death sentence only a mere job. "
" Well! You sent her on one! And it's not 'sir' to you. It's Commander Jones. "
Faylinn knew by now who they were talking about. She knew from the very beginning by the mention of 'she' for she was the only female in this army. Their debate continued, making her blood boil with the things they were saying, it was like they wanted to insult her but couldn't do it for being such cowards. She gripped the soft fabric in her now rough and stained hands.
" Sir- Commander Jones. From the report that was given to me, it was impressive for a woman. " emphasizing the last word. Oh how Faylinn want to strangle him. " To be promoted 11 times in just a year. So I thought she would have been fit for this patrol. " The so called ' Colonel ' said.
Before Commander Jones could jump to his feet and strangle him himself. Faylinn ripped open the fabric and stormed in. Her hands reaching the Colonel neck and then pressing on it hard strangling him.
" A Woman. You say, you fucking coward. You should be respecting me as much as you would if i were any other Captain. In fact maybe even more, but you insult me instead. Maybe I should just kill you now. " Faylinn voice didn't sound like an angel or like silk. It sounded dark and foreboding
The Colonel hands were trying to pry her hands away, while trying to gasp in air. Sure Colonels are one rank lower then Captains but that doesn't mean they have the right to disrespect them.
The Commander was shocked and happy to see her. He would have thought she would have died on her patrol, but luckily she hadn't. When the choking sound of the Colonel came to his ears it snapped him out of his dreamland so he can now deal the matter on hand.
" Faylinn. Enough. " Fast yet sternly. In hope that he wouldn't be to late, luckily he wasn't to late. For the Colonels sake.
She reluctantly took her hands off his neck and brought her hands to her side clenched in fist. Clenching her teeth. The Colonel fell to his knees coughing and wheezing.
" I could have done that myself. " Commander Jones said to Faylinn with disappointed lingering in his voice. In which she responded with a shrug. " Uh, now look. We have to deal with this Idiot for another hour. " he sighed.
