-----------------------------~~~ A Year Later :3 ~~~
It's been a year since the siren and faery had joined their beloved kingdoms armies. It's been a year of non-stop training. It's been a year, now they can join the war. It's been a year since they started to learn the truth and finally, they were going to get their answers. Were their answers on the battle field? Well, they would have to find out.
" FAYLINN GET READY!! YOUR STARTIN' PATROL "
" KATO GET YOUR ARSE UP YOUR HEADING OUT FOR PATROL "
Patrol. For some it means curtain death, some it means victory and for some, it means never being the same again. Some would go mad, some would get paranoid and some would even commit suicide. Luckily, they would not come back to their kingdoms paranoid or mad. Let's hope our heroes, don't end up like some.
As the 2 creatures started to get ready and head out for patrol, they was something that caught their eyes. The Diary.
Faylinn reached for the diary and opened maybe for the last time. As she reached the end of the diary there were words she had not seen before. The writing was more clear, the pages seemed fresh but the date. The date looked like it was written yesterday. Was this magic or sorcery? If this was magic, she never heard anything like this and it would be impossible!! The prince was probably far away and most likely dead so there could be no way that it would work. Faylinn looked closer and noticed something, it was writing itself...
Dear to whoever has my diary,
Obviously you found it somewhere in the library's shelves and are now reading it or have been these past few months. You obviously think that I am dead and have perished a long time ago. Hehe well, your probably right, I don't even know how I was able to survive these past years being old and probably weak. All I want to see before I leave this beautiful and terrifying world I want to see another faery. If your wishing to believe what I am writing please meet me by a meadow with lake that sparkles when touched. If you chose not to believe I understand, come by anytime I will be there waiting...
The prince...
Faylinn was shocked.
" FAYLINN HURRY UP. YOU GOT 5 MINUTES AND BRING THAT COMPANION OF YOURS. " a voice yelled at her from the other side of the door, making Faylinn jump and drop the book.
Faylinn quickly grabbed the diary off the floor on stuffed in a pocket of her armour and stuffing food in her face while grabbing Lucy from her sleeping state and heading out the door but not without her swords. The words from the diary were running through her head making her stuck between two things, should she follow the instructions and visit the exiled prince? Or go on the battle field and forget it every happened? Which she was hoping to do.
Still, the urge to see the prince was great. So was the risk, the risk being seeing with an exiled faery would result in death not only for her but for him as well, but what did he have to lose? Same with her? Didn't she say that didn't have a family and there would be no one to mourn for her? She did, but what kept her from going? She didn't know.
" There you are. First off were starting to pack our equipment and supplies, then we're leaving to a camp not to far away from the battlefield. Understood captain? "
" Yes sir. Now we must hurry if we want to get there before nightfall. " Faylinn responded.
Being called Captain was still new to the young faery but she deserved it. Being promoted about 11 times was impressive. Some faeries it would take their whole lifetime to be promoted to Captain plus she was a woman!! That made it even more impressive.
