Sometimes when you are about to do something, you might think if you're doing the right thing or not. Now if you haven't had enough time to bother before, you will surely have this doubt afterwards. But the point is that, it doesn't matter if it was wrong before or after you commit something, the only time when it does matter is the moment you do it. Like when Aylan and I kissed that day.
Right before our lips found each other, it felt so wrong and minutes later when I peeled myself off from him, it felt wrong again. But then, when my lips were securely between his, when his tongue invaded my mouth and when I inhaled his sweet scent and tasted him it felt perfectly alright. It felt inevitable. As if it was the most sensible thing to do.
...........................
After that delicious encounter between us, I knew that everything was going to be different. I could feel it in the air around us.
Just before we got on the bike, Aylan wrapped me in his jacket. It smelled like cigarettes and his sweat. Inhaling the essence from the fabric, I wrapped myself around him.
The rain was still giving me uncomfortable chills. A cozy warmth was radiating from Aylan's body. I loved how it felt against me. But there was something else heating up inside my core. Banging hard against my chest.
Something that scared the hell out of me. Much scarier than what I felt in the morning.
But I brushed the thought away.
"It's not what you think it is. You are wrong". I scolded myself.
............................
It was around 2 in the noon. There wasn't much change in the weather. But it felt okay. Aylan hadn't talked much since it happened which was totally fine with me. So, I didn't try to break the silence either.
We were much alike in many aspects. One of them was that we could talk like crazy when in the mood and we could also be quiet for a very long time.
Sometimes words can spoil a beautiful moment. When you talk more about something or spend all your words on a feeling you might lose its soul. The more you try to put a feeling into sounds and syllables the more you tend to forget how it really felt. Later in the day, all you will remember is those words that you chose to describe it and not the emotion it with hold. So rather than wasting all your energy choosing the right words, immerse yourself in the moment and enjoy it to the fullest.
Besides, there was a lot to look around. The small streams and mini waterfalls, the mist engulfing the valley, the trees and bushes dancing in the rain. So, we said nothing, feeling comfortable in each other's company and loving everything that surrounded us. "Aren't you hungry?" Aylan was the one to break the silence first.
"Well, not much. But a cup of coffee would be wonderful." I shrugged.
"I think I can see a tea shop by that corner. Let's take a few minutes there. We definitely need something to warm us up." He suggested.
"Wokay." I agreed.
The place was much bigger than a tea shop. It looked somewhat like an animal farm since there were quite some number of different animals in a shed closer. It smelled like food and wet cattle.
There were few other customers. We looked like two idiots, and drenched, to take a bike ride in this weather. But their stares didn't bother us. We were shivering. Aylan ordered two cups of coffee and some food. But before digging in, there was something I had to do.
"Aylan?" I pulled at his sleeve.
"Hmm?" He raised an eyebrow.
"I need to pee." I whispered in his ears.
