As I  walked through the hallway to my locker the next morning, I tried to catch a glimpse of the locker incident girl... hadn't quite picked her name.

My bad...

I had made a decision to maybe... try to sort things out with her...

I felt maybe I should give sociality with one person a chance plus she seemed friendly too...

Fortunately for me, I did see her. She was getting stuffs from her locker. I grew nervous.

You've got this Ronique...!

I released my breath and walked up to her..
"Hey."
She turned to me. It looked like she was a little surprised to see me but she did flash me a smile.
"Ronique?"
"Yeah, I...uh... I just wanted to apologize for yesterday. I was sure being an ass but what I said yesterday...they were all true." I tried not to sound too sorry.

She was silent for a while then she smirked at me.
"It's alright...it's fine. I'm guessing you're kinda anti-social. I could live with that."She gave ma a wink and I couldn't help but smile.

Wasn't so hard..was it?

"So are you having history now too?" She was getting books from her locker.
"I guess so"
She cocked her head at me. She had this uncertainty expression on her face."We could walk together to history class right?"
I nodded." Of cause"

Wow!...never thought I could do that...

We did have history class together and other classes too except Spanish, I was alone cause she was in Latin class.

                             * * *
"Hope you don't mind if we sit with my friends. Don't worry, there are very fun to be with." She gushed as we picked our trays of snacks we ordered.

It was recess and we were at the cafeteria.

More people...??

I wasn't sure I was ready for that. My heartbeat was a little faster. I felt my palms become sweaty.
It seemed she noticed my discomfort. "Ronique if you don't want it, we could eat alone okay?"

I looked at her. I hated that pity look in her eyes. I felt anger run through my spine.

Not now Ronique...! Just chill...! Damn!

I exhaled heavily and shot her a smile trying very hard to not make it seem as fake as it was.
"Let's go eat with your friends."
Her face lit up. "I'll lead the way."

I followed her to a table some feet's away. They were two people there already. A red-headed girl and a boy.

"Hey guys!" She called.
They looked up at us.
The girl scrunched her nose up.

Was that possibly for me...?!

"Don't tell me you ordered hamburgers again Nina...you know I hate it so much." She growled her nose ring dangling.

Phew....! Absolutely not...

She looked like a pretty little gangster with all her piercings but giving her a closer look she wasn't.

"That's why it's not your lunch girl." Nina stuck her tongue out to her and laughed.

Picked her name now...NINA...great..

The red-headed girl gave her an eye roll.

"So who's she?" The boy who had noticed me first asked giving me a level look. He looked like a normal teenager and his chocolate face was quite attractive.
The girl turned to me, finally noticing me standing with my tray, almost at Nina's back.
