As stepped out of my house porch, I was surprised to see a familiar black Jeep parked in front.
The horns blared, making me to move from the point I was rooted.
I got closer to see grey eyes crinkled up in a goofy smile.

I raised a brow. "Picking me up for school?"
He gave me his signature smirk and cocked his head.
"Get in."
A smile creeped to my face and I got in.

I was quite surprised to see him here smiling, after our awkward moment yesterday.
I had left yesterday without even seeing him, so him being here? I really don't understand.

Did he decide to try on me again? I had no idea.

He leaned in and gave me a peck. I was sure my cheeks were a visible shade of red.
"Morning sunshine." His accent made me grin.
I bit my lower lip. "Morning to you, Paxton."

He gave me a smile before he focused and eased the car into the street.
I couldn't help but access his features. He had on a sports cardigan, black crazy jeans and white sneakers.
He had his hair in straight locks.
He really did look good, no matter what he wore.

"You should really stop staring at me Ronique." He drawled stealing a glance at me.
I knew the red on my cheeks had become darker, I chuckled.
His eyes scanned me. "You look pretty."
I rolled my eyes. I was just on a simple grey t-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers.
I had my hair in a simple bun cause I was escaping from properly drying it.

"I will take that as you trying to be nice."
"I'm damn serious Ron."
Him using my short name for Ronique cut me by surprise. No one used that except my parents.
I looked up at him, he shot me a wink, I gave him a little smile before I looked ahead.

"This cheese rolls today are so tasty." Cheryl squealed and took another big bite.
"I bet that." Myron grinned wildly.
"The chips are great today too, like what's the deal?" Nina prattled and we all laughed.

We were at the cafeteria having lunch, I just listened to all of their babblings cause I really had nothing to say.
"So did anyone hear about the basketball match between our Likans and the Wolves?" Nina asked.
"Yeah, I did hear that, like the posters are everywhere." Cheryl answered. "Are you gonna be there Ronique?"

I looked up at her. I hadn't even noticed any posters or stuffs but if they was going to be a basketball match then Paxton was going to be a player right?
"What day?" I asked.
"Tomorrow night." Myron answered, running a hand through his hair.
I just nodded. "I could make it."

"Yeah, we should all be there to cheer Likans up, no one's gonna defeat them." Cheryl announced happily.
Nina was about to respond but Cheryl's ringing phone stopped her.
She checked the ID.
"Shit!" She muttered. "I have to take this guys." She left quickly.
"Got to grab some more fries, I'll be right back." Myron said and left too.

I was finally just left alone with Nina, I ate quietly as she buries herself in her phone.
I looked up and my eyes caught Paxton walking with his friends.
He had that super smile on his face and it was so fascinating when he threw his head back in laughter at what one of them said.

"Jeez... Ronique! Are you really eye fucking him from here?" Nina's squeal startled me.
I turned to her quickly.

Damn! Was I that lost?

She laughed and I was sure I already had red tainted cheeks.
I gave her the 'fuck you' finger, a smile creeping to my face.
She giggled.

I looked up at him again and our eyes met. He gave me sweet smile and started making his way towards me.
"Is he really coming here?"
I shrugged. "Apparently."
"You have a whole lot of things to spill girl." She said under her breath.
