So Far So Good

Author's Note: Sorry guys I know I promised this on Wednesday but my schedule has been hectic. But Friday will be dedicated to my book. Also any errors will be fixed Friday

Have you ever felt happy. I'm not talking about the feeling you get when things go your way or when someone makes you laugh. I mean true blissful happiness. The happiness that causes you to fall asleep smiling and wake up with the same smile. It seeps into your soul and sets it on fire with sunshine and rainbows. You float around like you have wings and your heart is one beat from bursting. That's how I felt Saturday night when Adam finally left. I felt it Sunday night while talking to him  on the phone until six, and Monday morning getting dressed. Not even the unexpected rain outside could sour my mood.

I was so happy I decided to wear a hot hot pink bow on top of my head and hot pink converse just to spice up my uniform. I floated through the house that morning not paying the slightest attention to anyone. I was pleasantly surprised to find Adam waiting outside to take me to school. I ran to the car because I didn't want my hair to get wet. As soon as I got in he leaned over gave me a peck on the lips. I licked my lips to taste him on my tongue and blushed at my vulgar act. He simply chuckled and drove to school.

When he pulled up to the parking lot, he got out the car and opened the door for me. We walked arm and arm into the school building and I relished in the stares that we got. He walked me to my locker and stood behind me as I opened it. He wrapped his arms around me and laid his chin on my shoulder. I turned my head toward his and just before I could kiss him I heard someone clear their voice. I looked over Adam's shoulder and a seen the smiling faces of Jas and Sarah. I blushed and quickly turned back around to my locker. I heard a giggle and Jas say,"oh hell nawl, I know she isn't just going to turn her back on us like we're not standing here."

I giggled and slide out of Adam's arms. I turned to face them but Jas was already firing questions at me."When did you two happen. Why wasn't I informed immediately after. In fact why haven't you called me lately." Before I could answer her question the bell rung and I said,"saved by the bell." She glared at me and mouth this is not over while I was being dragged down the hall by Adam. He walked me to my first class and wrapped his arms around me. I smiled and looked up into his eyes,"how do you know where my first class is." He winked at me,"I have my ways." He gave me a peck on my lips and a tap on my butt,"now get to class." I blushed and giggled; I quickly walked into class with my head down.

The first half of the day was filled with whispers and stares from people as me and Adam interacted with each other. It wasn't until lunch time that Jas had the chance to grill me. I sat down at the lunch table and her and Sarah looked at me expectantly. I nonchalantly started eating my apple while deliberately avoiding their gazes. Jas decided to finally say something,"I know you see us sitting here waiting on an explanation." I looked over at the pair and laughed at their eager faces. I slowly bit into my apple and chewed slowly while I gave them my best innocent look. Sarah looked ready to explodes from the anticipation and Jas looked to be getting more and more irritated. I finally relented when it looked like Jas was about to murder me. I gave them both a smile and started telling them about my Saturday night.

By the time I was finish Jas was swooning and Sarah had tears in her eyes. Sarah wiped her eyes and said,"that is the most romantic story I have ever heard." I blushed and looked down. Someone came and sat next to me and put their arm over my shoulders. I looked up and seen Adam's sparkling green eyes. He gave my right shoulder a little squeeze,"so what are you ladies talking about." I bit my lip and shook my head,"nothing I was just catching them up on some stuff." He looked at me like he knew I was lying and winked at me. Jas cleared her throat,"so Adam what are your intentions with my best friend." He chuckled and moved his hand down to my waist and pulled me closer. He rubbed his hands up and down my waist and calmly said,"I plan on fucking her until her only words are my name."

I choked on the juice I was drinking and he patted my back. Meanwhile Sarah's mouth hung open and her eyes bulged out of her head; Jas was the only person laughing until Adam joined her a minute later. After he stopped laughing and was able to talk he said,"I'm kidding, I just want to be with her." Then he leaned down and gave me a peck on the cheek. I gave a fake laugh because I was still recovering from the shock. You know that feeling you get when someone is watching you. Well that's what I felt at that moment. I looked up to find a group of girls glaring at me. I was a little freaked out and tried to ignore them for he rest of lunch,but it was like they were glares were bullets shooting into me.

I decided to just lay my head on Adam's shoulder and try to concentrate on the conversation they were having.
