"Last episode was the end of the Index arc and a new chapter of my life in more ways than one," Alex said as the scene showed him lying braindead.
"After Alex sacrificed himself for me, we drove him to the hospital where the doctor proclaimed him... braindead," Touma said as it then showed everyone mourning for Alex.
"But it was not all as it seemed," Misaka said as the scene transitioned to Alex waking up.
"Apparently, Misaka's love for me and an electric shock seemed to jumpstart my brain, which somehow was still largely intact in the memory department. Lucky me," Alex said before Misaka interrupted.
"Love for you? Wait, I woke you up from the dead?" Misaka asked in confusion, her voice tinged with disbelief.
"A necromancer!" Index yelled as it showed Misaka with the title "Necromancer."
"Not exactly, she—when Misaka kissed me or whatever she did—" Alex began.
"I did not kiss you!" Misaka retorted, the sound of her blushing evident.
"She sent an electric shock, which had enough energy juice to restart my brain... Misaka, you actually saved my life. Sorry, that's the only explanation I can come up with at the moment," Alex said, the sound of shock from Misaka clearly audible.
"So your love literally brought him back from the dead? That sounds like a cheesy romance novel," Touma said, a smirk on his face.
"Wow, like a romantic fairytale. You two must be deep in love," Index said as it showed a giant heart with Misaka and Alex in it.
"Stop it!" both Misaka and Alex said in unison before the heart burst into flames.
"Who did sissy bring back with her love?" Kuroko asked as she soon panted, wearing an "I love Misaka" shirt.
"Of course sissy could bring someone back from the dead with her love; she's the greatest... wait, who's the lucky punk who died?" Kuroko said, her tone turning fierce.
"Brains... aghhh... raaaooo... zombie noises," Alex said before it showed a picture of Alex with the word "Zombie?"
"Alex, no one is that dumb enough to actually beli—" Touma was saying before Kuroko yelled in fear.
"Ahhhhhhh! Zombie! Sissy's power is too strong; she breaks the laws of nature! Ahhhhhhhhh!" Kuroko screamed, causing Alex and Misaka to laugh.
"Hahahahahah! Please tell me you got that," Misaka said, wiping a tear of joy.
"Oh, I did, but this gives me an idea," Alex said, a mischievous glint in his eye.
"Whisper, whisper, whisper, and that's when you... whisper, whisper, whisper. Oh, and enjoy the episode. I know we will," Alex said, a sly smile on his face.

"So what do you mean you forgot what America was like?" Touma asked, frowning as he and Alex were back at the apartment.
"My neurons were damaged. Look, I could tell you before the names of all the states and could recall what a bath is like," Alex explained, visibly annoyed.
"But now you can't?" Touma asked, confused. Alex nodded in response.
"Kind of. Think of it like this: everything that I recalled to this point I can still remember, and I still have the knowledge of everything I can do. It's just that a portion of my memories must have been destroyed. Being built must have saved me from completely being mind-wiped, but now I have a large portion of my memories gone," Alex explained with a sigh. He slumped on the couch, staring at the ceiling.
