It's been a month already there has been so much chaos lately especially in the city luckily hawks move y/n more towards the country side .

Because he knew that there would be too many disasters especially with him gone .

Y/n knew he lied saying he would be a couple of days away and it's been a month already and the lump in her stomach has grown each day .

But she was severely ill , she skin was drain of color and eye bags are darker and she's been getting thinner each day and even had high fevers during the night time

' you promise you'll be back now I'm suffering' was her thought during the night

Cold sweats and nightmares was all she's been having

She stood up and look out the window it was a cold night and she was coughing so loudly she didn't notice him come in with tons of gifts

He walk to her room and seen her state as she started coughing blood out he ran towards her and held her

"God I'm so sorry y/n I'm here now please I'm sorry I was busy I literally thought about you" he said

He left her bones through the soft fabric

" go away you lied I don't wanna see you ever again"
She says throwing a vase at his head

She was hurting for a month and fell into bed rest for weeks it was like living hell for her and he wasn't there for her like he had promise before .

"Y/n please" he said as he got on his knees hugging her waist

She just look out the window and shrugged him off

"Please forgive me I'm here now please" he said

But she just lean against the wall and rubbed her temples

He look up at her and got off the floor and check her temperature

"You're burning up" he said and carried her bridal style

He felt her shiver and look at her condition

"I'm taking you to the hospital" he says before she fell unconscious

He flew as he carries her with a blanket over her body to make sure she's at least warm

As he got to the hospital he took her to the emergency room

"Any day later and she would've died right away her heart rate is slowing down and her vitals are dropping" the doctors say as they rush her into the room

As hawks holds her hand running with the doctors into the room

"Will she make it?" He says as he looks at y/n

"I don't know but we will try out best" one of the doctors said

Just before he let go he seen blood trailing down her legs

" why is he bleeding?" He ask and the doctors look at him and then look at her

" SHE'S HAVING A MISCARRIAGE GET HER BLOOD WORK DONE AND GET ME HER TYPE OF BLOOD SHES LOOSING BLOOD" one of the doctors yell

As they put the oxygen mask on her

"She was pregnant?" Hawks questions

But he just watch as they close the door and watch the sign turn red meaning surgery was going to be needed

He pace back and forth in the hallway

" FUCK" he yells kicking the vending machine

His hair was out of place and look so lost his eyes were blood shot red

"Hawks" endeavor says

Endeavor came as soon as he heard panic in hawks voice he didn't know what was going on and didn't question him he came right down to the hospital to proved him company .

"She was pregnant she was fuckin pregnant and I didn't know it's all my fault" he said as he fell on the corner of the wall gripping his hair

"It's not your fault it all happen so fast you were doing your job protecting the city" endeavor says

" I should've been protecting her" hawks says

"She will be okay" endeavor says reassuring him

After many hours of waiting the doctors look outside through the window seeing hawks walking around like a mad man

"This is" one of the doctors said with blood all over her scrubs

Another doctor sighs heavily and takes off his gloves and looks up towards the ceiling

Many of the other doctors look up and take off their gloves

There was a long pause it was intense making everyone's shoulders drop

"Time of death" a doctor said breaking the silence

"01:02am"

"Age and gender" the doctor said to make sure everyone process what had happened

"Age 20" another one doctor spoke

"Gender female" another doctors spoke

With that the head doctor walk outside and look at hawks who look at him and walk towards him

" how is she?" Hawks said

The doctor look down and look up towards him

"Time of death 01:02am" he said trying to remain calm

"I'm sorry we did everything we could but she lost too much blood and was unstable" he said

With that hawks fell to the floor and let out a loud scream making everyone around him look at him with sympathy

He was devastated and was on the floor crying out to her

"She's gone" he says

"I'm sorry" the doctors says leaving him alone

Today was the worst time of year for hawks.

" you told me you'll never leave me now you had left me with a scar" hawks says as he looks into the room where her body once was the only thing left was the blood all over the floor to prove she was once in the room
