So police waited till the holidays were over so they could start working on the case properly. It was only 2 days left so it was not that long. Leesah's body stayed at the hospital for 3 days.
Some people were still in the dark and did not know anything about the passing of Leesah.
Bianca, running down the stairs of the apartment complex because Jaiden called an urgent meeting at the dance studio. She was in such a hurry that she ran into someone at the entrance doors.
"Oops! I'm so sorry. I've got somewhere to be and I'm late and my boss is going to kill me since she already hates me and I also have to wait for the taxi and that's going to make me even more late. I'm just doomed." Bianca blurted out the words at one go. Her face got warmer when she realized that she was ranting to a stranger who was surprisingly just stood there and listened to her.
"I'm sorry about that also. I'm just late." The stranger just stared at her for a minute before saying "want a lift?" Bianca nodded her head countless times. She knew better than to trust a stranger but Jaiden was going to kill her if she arrived late. She already was.
On their drive to the studio. Bianca realized that the older woman didn't talk much. Even in situations she had expected her to say something she still kept quiet. Like when she wanted the location of the studio. She just opened an app on her smartphone and passed it to Bianca so she could enter the necessary details.
She quickly thanked her when they got to the studio and she again made an offer that Bianca could not resist. "I don't mind waiting. Do you?" She asked and like Bianca's body switched to auto mode. She said yes. "But don't you have other things to do? I don't want to bother you." Bianca said and hoped that she did not offend the woman. She cleared her throat before saying, "I said I don't mind." Feeling a little bit scared. Bianca got of the car.
After getting off the car. She took in her surroundings and noticed that Jaiden's car was not in the parking lot. That meant she was not the only one late.
She walked in the studio and joined the other dancers. They started catching up and sharing how they spent their holidays but everything went silent as soon as Jaiden entered the room. Like always.
Bianca was still angry for what happened between her and Jaiden. Finding out about her and Jayden but when eventually looked at Jaiden. Everything changed. She was worried about her. All her piercings were no where to be seen. They were all removed. She was wearing flip flops and that for Bianca was the biggest shocker. Everyone in the room was whispering. Wondering what could have happened to Jaiden that got her so bad.
"Glad you managed to gather here today. I bring to you very bad news. One of our dancer has passed away. As you can see our head choreographer is not here today." One of the dancers quickly interrupted her. "What Leesah is dead? What happened?
That question alone made Jaiden even more weaker because nobody knew what exactly happened. "She was murdered. The police will arrive soon. Just to ask y'all some questions."
"So are you going to choreograph us from now on?" Bianca asked. "I don't know. Just carry on practicing all the dance routines you did with her because there's a music video shoot we have to do."
Jaiden could not take questions anymore and was so relieved when the police arrived. They started explaining how everything was going to go and attended the dancers one by one.
When Detective Manale finally approached Bianca. She was so scared because something of this nature had never had to her before.
"Relax. I'm just going to ask you a few questions and we're done okay?" He tried calming her down. "Yes sir."
"You're new here right? What were your first impressions of Leesah?" He questioned taking out his little notebook from his jacket. "I'm not quite sure. I was just really- kind of jealous- not jealous just- she just had a relationship that I wished I had with our boss." A wrong set of word came out of Bianca's mouth.
"Oh really. Your boss being Ms Brown right? Who she was rumored to be in a relationship with." The detective carried on. "Yes her."
"Isn't that being greedy? You wanted her to yourself and got jealous because she already had someone else. So you decided to kill her, move her out of the way. Is is not so?" He grinned. "No! That's not what happened. I would never kill anybody. I'm not capable of doing something so cruel."
"We are taking you to the police Station mam. Ms Brown!"
"Yes detective."
"We are taking this young lady in for questioning. Thank you all for your cooperation. Excuse us please." He said standing in front of the other dancers. "What? You can't do that!" Bianca shouted desperately.
Everyone except for the police stepped aside and watched as they lead her out. Then again the silence ended as whispers and murmurs filled the room.
The mysterious woman who gave Bianca a lift was watching the scene unfold. She badly wanted to know what was happening and why was the sweet little girl dragged outside. She watched intensely as she turned to the police officer who was leading her way. She could not hear what was being said but it seemed like the girl was begging the police officer.
He nodded his head a minute later and signaled the other officers to let her go. The mysterious woman's eyes narrowed in confusion as the girl came running towards her car.
"I know you said you don't mind waiting for but I'm here to ask you something please help me!" Bianca blurted out in fear. The woman nodded in response. "Please follow those cars and wait for me at the station. I'll try to explain everything. I swear!" He eyes were wide with fear and her voice was that of desperation. The woman just gave her a thumbs up.
Bianca then ran back to the police men. They carried on where they left off and drove to the police station.
