"cmon chifuyu! i'm very sure she likes you too!" the guy named chifuyu got a pat on shoulder from his friend, baji keisuke.

"baji-san...i'm not sure- i'm nervous too-" as the sweat dropped over his forehead, playing with his fingers, just by thinking the situation he'll be in.

"look, it's easy ok! just hand her the yakisoba and then just say you like her! that's all ok" chifuyu rolled his eyes. right, the one who inexperienced to have a crush now advising him.

"i swear chifuyu, if you procrastinate again, you better just stay single forever" now it's baji who rolled his eyes thinking his friend kept on avoiding his crush just because too nervous.

meanwhile chifuyu lost in his thoughts while walking since the school is over now, baji shouted,

"Y/N!" baji waved his hand, calling his friend's crush just to see his friend got panic back. he then hugged his friend's shoulder so he won't run away anymore.

as they went closer to the girl, chifuyu tried so hard not to have any eye-contact with her. realising chifuyu's red face, she asked, "chifuyu, are you okay? do you catch cold?"

as she about to put her hand to his forehead, just to feel his temperature, chifuyu backed away. not wanting she touched him, as he could just faint now.

noticing the sudden and weird action of chifuyu, y/n blinked and felt sad inside. while baji rolled his eyes, thinking eventho that's obvious but the girl would misunderstand him for sure.

"say, y/n, are you free after this? wanna grab the usual?" "oh! sure i would love to!" she grinned with her usual eye smiles. seeing that, chifuyu just couldn't hold, he need to go.

"i- i'm sorry, baji-san. i have work to do- see you" he walked away not looking at the girl at all. realising that, her face dropped. overthinking over his actions.

"guess it's just us then, nvm! let's go now, y/n!" he ruffled her hair and hugged her shoulders and walked away to grab peyoung yakisoba as usual.

"eat well" chifuyu now is doing his routine. going out at evening, just to give some stray cats food as usual. he did this everyday if he have free time. looking at the cats, he caress their fur and just watched them eat.

not that long, suddenly, a girl appeared from his back. knowing the figure, she asked, "chifuyu?"

with that, chifuyu froze at his place. knowing so damn well whose voice is this, he began panic back. he stood up immediately and looked at her, "o-oh y/n..hi"

she smiled, walking closer to him but not too close, "giving them food huh?" his eyes were everywhere as he answered, "y-yeah, i- i gotta go back now- i have things to settle"

with that, he walked away. but before he can got far, she asked a lil bit louder,

"do you hate me, chifuyu?" the sudden question made him stopped walking, but not turning around yet. he thought, why the heck i would?

"i- i'm sorry if i make you feel uncomfortable. or maybe you don't want anyone to spend more time with baji, i'm very sorry about that. if you- wanted to stop being friend with me, well- you could just tell.. no need to... left me hanging.." the last word sounded so down while she lowered her head.

feeling bad, he turned to her, just to see a girl he love looking so down just because of her. cute but not the time, chifuyu.

"you think i hate you?" she doesn't look to him, she said, "well.. idk if i just overthink but i do feel like.. you're... ignoring me.. we rarely hang out anymore. b-but-" with panic look, she looked up at him, "it's- it's not like i put the blame on you- w-well you could just tell if you wanted to- you know- if you want me to stop hanging out with you two- i- i'm sorry- it's not your faults at all"

he gasped slowly. what an innocent girl he fell to. but the guilt feeling just surrounded him, thinking how he put his love into overthinking phase already. he felt so bad.

"i'm sorry y/n, but i do wanted you to stop being my friend"

and it's like a pang of heart attack to the girl. gosh- that's hurt. she seems speechless so she lowered her head down.

"ah..i see-"
"but be my partner instead"

she immediately looked up at him with a confused look. she seems too shock now while the boy scratched his back neck.

"sorry y/n.. it's not like i wanted to ignore you but it's just- my heart too fast when i see you" he chuckled, "i'm sorry i made you thought like that" he smiled, "it's been weeks already i planned to confess to you, but once i saw you, i just think of running away" he chuckled, "what a coward right?"

he looked at the surprised girl, poor her. he smiled softly towards her, thinking how lucky if she is his girlfriend. innocent, pure, cute, kind girl.

the girl just stood there, doesn't know how to reply it. but then, the boy handed her ice cream, "you can take this without saying anything if you feel the same way" he giggled, "but you can take the ice cream too, but with a sorry, if you... doesn't feel the same way" he smiled.

she walked closer to him, looking at the ice cream. seeing the girl about to take the ice cream, making him so nervous. but then,

"sorry, chifuyu" she took the ice cream. hearing the sorry, his heart dropped. but then he immediately put the smile on his face, wanted to say it's ok to reject him,

"it's ok-"
"i don't want to be your partner, but being your girlfriend better" she grinned.

processing her words, he felt like the world is his. woah....... like is this real......?

as he too lost in thoughts, suddenly he felt someone pulling his sleeves, making him looked at the girl- oh i mean, his girl.

"c-can you... pat my head.. i overthink too much about you hating me" hearing her request, he felt like a guy that need to take care of his love now. he chuckled looked at her, then did as she requested.

"i'm sorry okay? i never hate you, cutie. now, are we good?" he giggled as he saw his lover's red cheeks.

feeling her hand holding onto his shirt, just flutter his heart too much.

"of course- just don't- ignore me anymore" he giggled then said, "sure, baby"

he kept on caressing her hair, wishing no more overthinking in her head. and tried to calm her blushing mess that he found too cute for him.

gosh how wonderful today is..
