"mom, is there new neighbour moving?"

baji keisuke, who just got back, asked her mom who was cooking. her mom looked at him, "yeah, i planned to visit them later, you tag along, keisuke"

he immediately looked at her while frowning, "ah mommm but i want to meet mikey and others later!"

"just a while, keisuke. we need to say at least hello to them. you can go after we meet them later" little baji keisuke began pouted and took off his school uniform.

"my pleasure, mrs. ryo. we're neighbours anyways"

suddenly, someone caught baji's attention as he waited for his mom bid goodbye. a girl around his age running towards the woman,

"MOM~!" a girl ran to the woman while waving her hand, joyfully. "oh, y/n~ welcome back" the woman ruffled her hair, "mrs. baji, this is my second daughter. she's 7 years old. y/n, say hello to mrs. baji, she's our neighbour from now on"

"hello aunty!" the girl shot her cute eyesmiles while waved her hand towards the taller woman.

"omg what a sweet girl arent you~" baji's mom pinched her cheeks while giggling, "oh 10 years old? then you're 2 years younger than my son, his name is keisuke" while introducing, his mom began pushed his back just to get closer to the girl, making them now facing each other.

"be good friends with keisuke, okay?" y/n nodded at her mom's words before looked at the boy back before smiling towards him more.

BAJI's POV

sigh.

i never know someone could change. she was a cute girl having joyful personality before, but not anymore.

we spent time together until she being 13 only. until that, she rarely went out. maybe because of growing up, she became more shy than before. but she once told me, her mom is more strict than before, not letting her out that easy now. her dad is no longer there anymore, i mean, he's dead since she's 6.

as i tried to unlock my house's door, i saw someone from my right. i looked, knowing it's her. just got back from school too, but different school as mine.

her appearance shocked me a bit. she still shorter than me, but maybe her hair shocked me. guess that's wolf-cut hairstyle huh? she looked amazing, cant deny that. i crushed on her since then.

she was cute, but with a boyish personality. some might not like it, but not me. she was friendly, she known as a prefect before. she always being mad, grumpy since that's always prefect been doing. but she's cute when she's mad. thats why i sometimes be stubborn student, well.

but not anymore. we only got into same school until she's 13. she became a prefect, but half-year only. then, what i knew, she's no longer were. her vibe, her aura, got darker. i got not much chances to talk to her. she got back from school, earlier and never got out from house then. until she's 14, she transferred to other school. and that made my chances to see her, became rare.

"are you just gonna stare me until it night?"

i snapped out of my thoughts as i heard someone's voice approached me. i blinked my eyes as i looked to her, who now in front of me.

"h-huh?"
"you've been staring at me like imma ghost. is there anything i can help you?"

her gloomy, serious face scared me a bit. i panic, and looked around, ah what to say...
