"nii-san cameeee~!"

the little boy, named ryo, began cheering and running towards the taller guy that he called as 'brother'. as he ran away, y/n looked towards the door, just to see the familiar guy, who've been coming to that orphanage since the winter.

her gaze soften as she watched the kids were hugging and happy over his presence. at first, he was really awkward with kids, but luckily to him, some of them were not the type of scared with people. they're the one approaced kakucho first.

"nee-chan, nii-san bring fruitsss!" said ryo, who struggling bring the bag that seems heavy towards the her. she immediately took it,

"can we eat it? can we eat it?" the excited boy began jumping many times, excited to eat the fruits. she then grinned, ruffling his hair, "sure~ nee-chan go cut it first ok, go sit with nii-san" she said before she stood up and looked at the kid ran back to the guy.

she took a glance at him, noticing the guy also looking at him. she smiled, signaling a "hi" with her smile, making the guy smiled softly too before he got dragged with the kids. y/n giggled then went to the kitchen to serve the fruits for them.

"say, y/n.."

as she heard the guy called him, she immediately looked towards him. raising her eyebrow, "yes?"

the guy finally looked at her, feeling nervous all of him, "do you...have some free time after this? i- i want to talk with you..a while. just us.." he slowly asked his eyes sometimes looked other place.

"mhm, sure! other nanny were here too" she smiled, making the guy nodded and smiled before both of their attentions focused to the kids.

"do you know..what logo is this?"

the guy showed a logo from his phone to her as they sat beside each other on bench. she took a closer look to the logo, before sitting straight back.

she looked at him, making his sweat dropped, just for him to see the girl shook her head with a blank expression on her face, "why so?"

kakucho stared deeply into her eyes, feel sad a bit before sighed, "its...my team's logo" as he looked away.

"ooooh you mean like your company? that nice one!" she giggled innocently, "what you guys do?" as she tilted her head, keeping her eyes on him.

kakucho looked at him, frowning a bit, "y-you really dont know?" she shook her head once again.

"can i ask you something?" good for him, he grew braver to have such an eye-contact with girl, but only f/n l/n actually.

"hm?" the girl hummed as response. kakucho then sighed, "what do you think about...dating a delinquent? or maybe...a criminal?" he looked to the ground, not wanting to see her face as he felt a bit sad.

"hmmm that was hard one.." she tapped her finger to her chin, thinking a while, "i could say it's scary" she nodded, making kakucho looked away more.

"but god create us with our soulmates. so, hmm you made me think, what if my soulmate is a criminal? or maybe delinquent hm..." kakucho's eyes widen as he looked at her, agreeing with her words inside.

"what about you kakucho-kun? what do you think if your girlfriend is a criminal? to add a spice, she's a crazy one" she giggled cutely, making kakucho felt less nervous as the girl knew how to less the awkward between of them. that made him feel really comfortable around him.

"if i cant get her out of my mind, i might date her. maybe marrying her can change her?" he slightly grinned as the girl admired his rare grin.

she nodded, "then imagine, you're a criminal. and you're falling in love with a normal, ordinary girl. what would you do?" she stared him as she smiled softly towards him.

kakucho slightly froze, as he knew that's probably himself, he then looked at the view, sighing once again before smiling.

"i'll try my best to not involve her in my work or anything. i'll take care of her because she's my world. and i'll try protect her loved ones too. it's gonna be hard but i'll try and just hope she'll stay with me" he smiled softly, feeling comfortable around her.

she nodded, understanding everything what he said.

"alright," she stood up facing her, as he looked up to her, "anything more?"

he immediately stood up, "ah actually..." he looked away as he rubbed his back head.

inhaling exhaling, he stood facing her back, "i asked my friends' advices, and they said i should tell you"

she titled her head, looking all puzzled over what he said, as the guy exhaled again, as his hands began into fists, he forced himself to make an eye-contact with her,

"i...i like you will you be my girlfriend?" finally, he said with one breath. its obvious that his sweats dropped, also his cheeks blushing a bit.

suddenly, he heard soft giggles from the girl, so he looked at her, blinking his eyes as he confused,

"y0u're cute kakucho-kun" as she gave him eye-smiles, making him all shy back. suddenly, she took a step forward, looking up to him.

"i'll accept your offer if you really really promise me one thing" he looked at her, wanting to know what was it.

she smiled softly, "to take care of me and my loved ones as long we're still together" she said while she showed him, her pinky finger.

he stared at her pinky finger, "if you promise me, link your pinky finger with mine. with that, im your girlfriend" she giggled as she thought that was cheesy and cringy but she decided to play it cool.

he looked at her face once again, just to receive a really warm smile, making him smile too, then slowly cling his pinky finger with hers.

only god and himself knows how happy is him inside, he could just jump now but he played it cool in front of his lovely girl.

"i'll make a list about who are my loved ones then i'll give it to you" she slightly laughed, making he chuckled, "anything for you" he smiled softly, admiring the girl.

"alright see you when you're not busy!" she walked away, waving her hand, before she turned to him once again,

"dont overwork okay? see ya,

bonten's no. 3"

she grinned widely before she waved her hand and walked away, making kakucho froze.

"she....know...."
