Chapter 2•

Manik and karan head inside the hospital "Nandini Murthy hm. Does she know ki asliyat mein Kya hua tha?"

"I don't know manik.. if she does Toh phir Kya?" Karan asks him, both of them head inside the lift to go to the second floor.

"Kill her then" manik does not hesitate to say that. Karan eyes him for a moment.

"What" Manik looks at him getting no response from him "we don't fucking allow risks in our work you know that"

They walk out of the lift, manik had his hands in the pocket the whole time, he kept thinking how did he survive his gun shot.

They see sohail's family standing there, although his family has not seen manik or any of the other members but they know their names.

Karan walks up to them "how is sohail doing?" Karan pretends to care

"Aap log kon?" They ask him standing up

"Jo aapka bhai waha pe pada hai, it's because of me" manik says it like it's something he is proud of, the lady gets shocked and looks at him

"Actually correction, he should dead but Pata nahi how and who the hell is this dr Nandini who saved him" manik takes his hand out of his pockets, the lady was disgusted hearing him

The lady was still looking at him with a hope tjay manik would change his mind or at least think about forgiving him but she also knew manik had no sympathy for anyone whatsoever.

"How could you do this to him" she cries

"Because he bloody deserves it, he should've thought it before going to my enemies and joining hands" manik says angrily

"Tum log janwar ho" the lady holds Manik's collar and cries, karan tries to interfere but manik puts out his hand stopping him

"Whatever you want to think but he will not go out of his hospital alive and I will make sure of that" manik threatens her, she takes her hand off and cries.

Manik looks at her with no expressions or emotions on his face, he did not care what anyone went through if he had to do something that will prove his point or benefits him he will do it without thinking.

Manik looks over to karan, he nods and both of them leave, the lady drops down on the floor crying as she knew how dangerous they were and they could do anything.

As Nandini was picking up some equipment her phone rang, she looks at it and it read myrah.

"Hellooooooo" myrah shouted, Nandini scrunches her face and takes the phone away from her ears avoiding an ear ache

"Kya hai chilla kyu rahi hai" Nandini says annoyingly

"Mein khush hu ki tujhse Mil rahi hu aaj" myrah says

"I'm happy too lekin uhm... myrah I don't know ki aaj dinner ka plan successful ho payega ki nahi" Nandini bites her lips

"What? Why!" Myrah asks

"Ek emergency aa gayi hai I don't know if I can get out of this" Nandini tells her

"Nandini Tu humesha aisa karti hai" myrah says sadly

Nandini looks down "I know I'm sorry but ek kaam
Karte hai tomorrow after all this is over hum pure do din ke liye bahar jayenge" Nandini tries to convince her
