Manik comes back home and goes straight in to his room. He thinks about Nandini and how she asked him those questions, he looks down in frustration.
Karan knocks at Manik's door, he looks up "why you knocking?"
"Mujhe laga shayad Nandini bhi ho" karan laughs and comes there
"Toh?"
"Toh you guys are husband wife Kuch bhi ho sakta hai" karan mocks him
"Will you shut up, Nandini ke wajah se already mujhe sar dard hai" manik looks at him
"Ab Kya huaa" Karan looks at him
"She's trying to know my past, mere baare mein sab Kuch jaan ne ki koshish kar rahi I cannot allow that"
Manik tells karan
"I think she has a the right to know manik, Woh Ab tumari wife Hai she needs to know ki why Tum sabse ese door rehte ho" Karan looks up at him
"You don't understand man, she can't know. Nandini bohot acchi hai she doesn't deserve to be in all this mess" manik tells him
"Lekin uss ni tujhse kaha hai na ki she wants to know, she wants to help you Toh phir problem Kya hai. Nandini ko Maine dekha hai tumhari care karte hue, when you got shot kitna khayal rakha tumara"
"I understand karan, and honestly mein bohot hi grateful hu but that's what I'm saying ki Nandini is too good, for this shit for me and for this relationship" manik vents
"Usse Bas iss relationship mein takleef milegi aur Kuch nahi and she doesn't deserve it, Usse aisa koi Milna chahiye jo Usse Pyaar kare uski choti choti baaton ka dhyaan rakhe, not someone like me who just hurts her"
"Yeh Tu decide karega Ab? When there is a relationship it's two way manik sirf tumara faisla nahi chalta you need to know about Nandini too and what if she feels the same manik, Woh tumare saath rehna chahti ho to" karan advices him, manik looks down taking a deep breath
"Woh bohot ziddi hai, she will try to find out more and more Lekin mein Yeh nahi hone de sakta mein uske apne kareeb nahi aane de sakta it will ruin her"
"She already has manik, tumhe dikhai nahi de raha hai shayad Lekin sabko de raha hai. Nandini has started to change you Tu uske saath bohot hi different hota hai, your concern for her is visible on your face" karan tells him, manik looks at him with worried expressions
Manik stands up "no no I can't let that happen, mujhe apna badla bhoolna nahi hai. And the only thing in the way of it is Nandini. Usse mujhse dur jaana ji hoga, by choice or by force"
"What are you going to do manik?" Karan looks up at him, manik looks on taking a deep breath thinking of something

Nandini finished her shift, she was really tired she messaged manik to pick her up. Nandini goes outside of the hospital, and she sees a car waiting by the looks of it, it was one of maniks car. She goes to it and sees karan sitting inside.
Nandini opens the door and sits inside "hi Nandini" he says to her
"Hi, uhm tum aaye ho to pick me up?" She asks wondering where manik was because he told her that he was going to come
"Yeah manik called me saying he got caught up in something" karan tells her but he also knew that was not the thing, manik was clearly avoiding her
"Oh okay" is all Nandini replies, she looks away sadly realising how much she is used to manik and him being around her all the time, karan looks at her and smiles.
'Dono ke dono stupid, ek waha pe hai manik jo isse avoid kar raha iss darr se ki Yeh uske dil ke kareeb aa rahi hai aur ek yeh hai jo uske dil ke kareeb jaana chahti hai but is stopping herself'
