Chapter 4

Katrina POV

I wake up to a loud knocking on my front door. I moaned as I moved, and the bottom half of my body hurt. I roll out of bed as Josh sits up. He watches me limp out of the room, and I hear him laughing.

"Shit not funny," I yell. I look out my window and see Zoe. I open and she walks in.

"Bitch you will never guess what happened." She says. I close the door and limp back into my room she stops.

"Bitch who fucked you last night got you walking like that?" The minute we walk into my room, she laughs.

"Why do you do my best friend like that, Josh?" She says.

"I didn't do anything just gave her a lil dick." He says.

"More than a little. "She says.

"I'm right here. Anyway, what happened?" I ask.

She rolls her eyes as Josh lies down, and I start lotioning up. She sits down in the chair on my vanity.

"Last night, while I was working at the club, Ronnie had the nerve to show his damn face. Talking about me and him ain't through." She says.

"Chris was there last night did he handle it?" Josh asked.

"Of course, he did. That's why I'm here, you need to get back to the warehouse." She says.

The warehouse is where he does business for his drugs. He growls. He gets up, grabs a shirt, and his gun off the dresser.

"What the fuck happened, and why did Chris pull you into this? I told him that y'all stay out of all things gang-related." He says. He is fuming because he thinks of Zoe as his sister, and he doesn't want her involved.

"I know I'm not involved we just couldn't reach you this morning." She says

He grabs his phone, and it's dead.

"Alright, I have to go." He says. He leans down, kissing my lips before saying goodbye to Zoe and me and telling us he loves us.

"Damn girl he tried to steal your tongue. What happened?" She asks.

"He said he would explain everything in a week, so until then, I don't have any answers for you," I say. I put clothes on so that I and I can go to get our nails done.

I grow when I bend down. My cervix was killing me.

"Girl you, ok?" She asks.

"Man, he tried to put a child in me. My cervix and vagina hurt." She laughs.

"I bet y'all nasty ass will sit down next time." She says.

"Of course not," I say and we head out. After we get our nails done and something to eat. I really start to feel pain in my uterus.

"Hey Zoe, can you take me to the hospital? Something ain't right," I say. She looks over at me and nods. The hospital has a wing where Josh operates out of in case any of his guys get hurt or for minor problems. There is also an OBGYN on standby for any of their wives and such.

"Damn bitch he fucked you up." She says. I laugh, then grow when I feel my stomach contract and a pain shoots up my back.

"I know. At the time that shit felt good. Though the boy fucked the light out of my eyes, I was seeing stars and shit." I say. She laughs.

"See, Nawl, that's how your ass ended up in this situation to begin with. " She says. I can't correct her cause she's right.

Me: Hey, Josh, you ass got me on the way to the hospital. We should be there in five minutes
