Stepping into the cafeteria on a weekend was very different. No dress pants seen around except for the very prim and proper.
I think this is where all of them like to show they're just like any other high school. People in little clothing, others in comfy clothes and a couple in sports outfits.
Marissa has been annoying me to no end. Because of her I now lock my locker because I think she wants to ruin my stuff judging from the number of time she's accidentally spilled stuff on my clothes in the morning before class to make me late. Her childish antics irritate me.
I've made it through to the weekend but it's weird how neither dad nor mom have called or even texted. Ethan texted me once, same for my sister. It's almost like they very much wanted me far away. And here I was thinking mom would bombard me with phone calls just to check up.
Earlier I went for a run on the tracks before freshening up. I'm quite famished. I look at the wide range to choose from . I'm definitely eating more than usual today.
I grab a croissant, some sausages and toast and make myself an instant cappuccino. Unfortunately, I deemed myself stupid the moment I met Marissa's eyes and still decided to walk past her table.
Not my fault there were empty tables right around them. Obviously they were repelling the whole school.
A foot stuck out to trip me- and it worked. It was that guy. The one who didn't want me to snitch that he was in my building. He had my roommate comfortably seated on his lap.
Apparently most teachers are not present now because they're in some breakfast meeting, at least most of them.
Unfortunately, my hot cappuccino spills on me and I let out a loud shriek . It wasn't too hot, and thankfully most of it was on the floor instead.
The whole cafeteria falls silent.
"Are you crazy?", I scream at both of them standing up slowly. She yawns staring at her nails.
"Calm down dragon", the guy says laughing and the other stupid people join in.
"Shut up"
I may be shy sometimes but when I'm mad- I overreact.
"If you ever pull a stunt like this again, I'll hurt you so bad, you'll wish you had never met me", I threaten Marissa. For a second fear flashes in her eyes but she quickly masks it with a sneer.
"What will you do ? Huh new girl?", the guy asks and I chuckle humorlessly
"Test my patience and see"
"I just did", he says grabbing a glass of orange juice and pouring it over my head.
My mom should have taught me how to control my anger better because I throw my now half empty tray at his empty head. He lets out a painful cry and his friends rush to hold me back
"I will not be bullied by you two neanderthals", I scream breathless.
People were recording but thankfully my hairs in my face and well yeah I hope nobody gets a clear view of my face. They're all quite far away. If mom sees it, I'm dead.
I could've really been hurt if the coffee was a tad bit hotter.
"What on earth is going on here?!", someone screams, probably another teacher in charge of some of the dorms.
I tried to get myself out of the grasp of his friends.
"Ma'am this girl tried to attack us", Marissa says quickly pushing herself off his lap
"This is a school where we train exemplary leaders. Not animals! All of you, eat your breakfast in silence. "
Everyone scrambles to their seat well except me. Drama's over.
