*5 months later*

I sat in the Quinn and my office. Katie, Catherine, Alex, James, and his new found mate Tania were with us too. Katie was in my lap playing Temple Run 2, her face scrunched up in frustration and concentration. It was adorable, smiling at the look on her face I turned back to the scene in front of us.

"We can't let him get away with this. The trial won't work because you found your mates. Why is he suing? Actually, how did he get out? He needs to get over this obsession. He has a mate. Can't we just kill him or ban him?"

"Catherine, he wants the pack. No one knows how he got out. We can't kill him by law. He might have a mate but Candy wants Quinn and Adam wants me. They might have the bond but they want power." I said.

"Mommy? Daddy? What's wrong?"

"Katie, sweetie, you wouldn't understand," Quinn said pulling her from me and onto his lap. "but I promise you'll understand too one day, ok?"

"Ok." she said, going back to play the game on my phone. We all talked for a while then left the room, going our separate ways. It was 8:07 so we've been in there for about two and a half to three hours trying to think of ways to get around this. "Mommy, can I got play with Kole?"

I chuckled slightly at the face she made, trying to convince me to let her go see her friend. "Why do you like Kole so much? There are other girls around your age that would love to play with you." I told her smiling. Ever since she met the little boy she lost interest in everyone else.

"Because Kole is cute and his eye are pwetty and when he touches me it feel tingly. So can I go play with Kole?" Oh. My. God. My little girl found her mate! But she hasn't shifted and neither has he. How can they feel the connection?

"Hey sweetie, go find daddy for me please. I'll give you a piece of candy." She squealed in excitement and jumped out of my arms to go find Quinn. 'When Katie comes to you, pick her up and bring her to our room. There is something huge we need to talk about.'

'Umm, ok.'

I walked to our room and started pacing back and forth. This can't be. I don't want it to be her! That sounds selfish but it's true. Everything she said is what that story is about. She's only 5, well 6 since her birthday was 3 months ago. I heard my mate and Katie laughing then the door opening and closing. Quinn must've seen me pacing and stopped laughing.

"Danielle? What's wrong?" Quinn said with worry lacing his words.

"Katie and Kole. They're mates. You know what this means, right?"

"No. No no no no no and no. There is NO way in hell that I will allow our child to be apart of that bull s-" Quinn put Katie on her feet and stared at me with and angry expression on his face.

"Katie is in the room! Let's keep the language PG, Quinn!"

"MY CHILD IS NOT THE DARK WOLF!" Katie ran from Quinn in fear. He saw this and his expression softened extremely. Ever since her parents died, Quinn and I have gotten attached to her and think of her as our own, hence the protectiveness we have over her.

Katie, tell him why you like Kole so much."

"Kole is cute and his eye are pwetty and he doesn't let the mean boys at school pick on me and when we touch he makes me feel tingly."

Quinn backed towards the wall and slouched to the ground once her hit it. "Katie is the Dark Wolf. Kole is meant to be the only one that can calm and help her with her shift. She won't need us to protect her anymore. Babe, I-I don't want someone else looking out for her." he said softly. A tear escaped from his eye and mine too. I don't want this just as much as him, but this has to happen.

"Since Katie is 6, we have 9 years to wait. If she doesn't shift when she turns 15, then it's certain she is the Dark Wolf and she will shift when she turns 16. Bottom line is we have to talk to Mr. and Mrs. Morris and tell them that their son is possibly the mate of ours and everything that will happen." He nodded and wiped his face. "Katie, come here please." she slowly walked towards me and sat in my lap.

"Yes mommy?"

"Remember the story I told you about the really powerful wolf called Dark Wolf?" she nodded her head with a smile on her face. She loves that story. Other kids are kind of scared after hearing it, except for her. Now I understand why. "There is a big chance you could be her. If you don't turn into a wolf on your 15 birthday then you are the Dark Wolf." she jumped in excitement.

"YAY! Can we go find Kole? I wanna tell him ima be a power wolf!" she said with happiness in her eyes. I nodded my head yes and she ran out the door, looking for her fri- I mean mate.

Quinn stood and walked towards the door. He shut and locked it then walked back towards me. Man, I love this boy. I looked into his eyes as he walked back towards where I sat on the floor. "Mate me."

"Wait, what?" he said confusion on his face but hope in his eyes that what words came out of my mouth were true.

"You heard me." I stood and pulled him towards the bed. "Mate me. I'm ready."

He smiled at my brightly then said, "Gladly. I love you so damn much."

"I love you too, Quinn." For the rest of that night, he made love to me. All that time we could've been together was wasted because his dad trying to kill me. Because of his damn dad my pack had to go hiding the alpha, but now me and my mate are together forever with Katie. Even with these two small problems that could have a big effect on our life, nothing will make me have to run from him again.

OMFG IT'S DONE! I think the ending sucked though :\ Sorry it's so short. I want to thank EVERYONE, yes you reading this, for sticking with me and actually reading my first story ever published on Wattpad. Even though I didn't update regularly, you still stuck with me through it and I couldn't have asked for anything else <3

I feel like a sequel about what happens to Katie and Kole a couple of years in the future is in order since I kind of left you guys hanging there.

About the court thing with Adam if you didn't understand, he is trying to sue and say that he is Danielle's mate and since they met first he should get all rights to the pack.

Then Candy wants Quinn and Adam wants Danielle for power so they are going to try to end their mating bond.

They got to court and not only did they fail because Quinn and Danielle are already mated but they proved it by having Adam attempt mark Danielle but when she felt pain, Quinn shifted and almost killed him, and Candy cried from the pain of having her mate reject her they were both banned.

Then the matter of Adam using 'fake mate' against Danielle was brought up so by Werewolf law Adam was sentenced to death. Candy committed suicide from the pain a few days later.

Danielle and Quinn got married at 17 and had at twins Kenneth and Delaina at 18. Kenneth was born first so he has full rights to the alpha position.

The sequel will take some time to get up but when it's uploaded it's going to be 9 years in the future. Quinn is 22, Danielle is 21, Kenneth and Delaina are 8, Katie and Kole are 15.

Danielle's beta resigned so she appointed Howard the new beta which he accepted.
