Mark Me Babe (Danie POV)

Adam took me home and I fell asleep from the events of today getting to me. I woke in my room and saw James sitting at my desk.

"James, what are you doing here and why were you watching me sleep?"

"Adam told me what happened at school. This was a bad idea, I shouldn't have ever sent you there."

"What did you hear?" If he finds out I told Howard and Alex about me having to hide my scent, I'm dead.

"The secret almost being exposed from that girl, I'm so sorry Alpha. I'll think of something else."

Phew. He doesn't...wait. How does he know?

"How did you find out?"

"Adam. When he brought you upstairs looking pissed, I knew something was up." Shit! If Adam told him about 'us' we are both dead, him more than me. "I can't believe he left his mate to help you," his mate? Me being shocked was an understatement. "That's strong. I would never be able to leave my mate when I finally found her. Especially with the situation at the moment."

"He found his mate?" I'm happy for him, but now we have to break up. After 3 years of crushing on him. After three days of dating him, it's all coming to an end. "Where is he, I need to talk to him."

"In his room. Why?"

I smirked to hide the sadness on my face, "The little bitch didn't tell me."

He laughed and I ran out of my room. I went down the stairs to the floor his room is on then just walked in his room.

"Hey Adam we-." I stopped talking immediately then turned around.

I didn't see that. I didn't see that. I didn't see that. Yup I did not just see my boyfriend's backside.

Apparently he just tools shower.

"Babe, you can turn around now."

I turned around and he had on black shorts, no shirt.

"So what did you want to talk about?" He asked. I sighed, here comes the heartbreak.

"I heard you found your mate." I said quietly. I looked to the ground, not wanting to see the love in his eyes; for another girl.

I heard him stand up and walk towards me. Instead I breaking up with me like I thought he would, he enveloped me in a hug. I hugged him back, tightly.

He turned my face towards his and kissed me passionately. It was nice and slow. Strangely I felt a small spark. He let go of my face, not ending the kiss, and held my waist in a possessive way. I wrapped my arms around his neck then pulled my face back, still in his embrace.

"What about your mate?"

"I saw what she did. I would never have a slutty bitch as my mate. As crazy as it sounds, instead of loving her and that kiss feeling wrong, I still feel the same about you as I did yesterday when I was mateless."

"I can't let you reject her."

"My mate. My decision. And I already did."

"What! When?"

"Before I got in the car with you."

This damn spark is bothering me. It feels comforting but it's weird.

"Do you feel this...spark?"

He smiled big, "I was hoping you would." I was about to ask what he was talking about but he cut me off with his lips. I kissed his back and my wolf felt peace.

What the hell?

My thoughts started to fade as the kiss got more intense. I couldn't think straight, as if he were my mate. I jumped and hitched my legs around his torso as he pushed me against the wall.

The sparks grew more intense and soon, it all fell into place.

Adam is my second chance mate. If my mate rejects me, Adam will be my second chance at love.

I got down and pulled away slightly. I smirked at him and pulled him to his bed by his shorts belt loop.

If you haven't noticed yet, my wolf took over. Danielle would never do this, but it feels so right.

I turned to him and kissed him roughly as my knees hit the bed. I leaned back and he climbed on top of me. He started tugging on my shirt and then I knew that his wolf took over. I took control and pushed him back lightly.

"Adam. Take control." I said. Ok I used my Alpha to make him. If we didn't stop now, we wouldn't at all.

He took control and saw the position we were in.

"Shit. Baby I'm so sorry." He sat up, still straddling my waist. "I couldn't control it. My wolf took over because he saw his second chance and-"

"I get it. He didn't want you to reject me like you did to Candy."

He sighed in relief that I wasn't mad at him for this.

"Umm, Danielle, I have to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"There's a lot of werewolves at that school and I don't want them to think your available even if you tell them you have a boyfriend, so can I mark you.

This is short but I just needed a filler chapter. 

Oh and the reason that Danie has two second chance mates will be explained later in the story
