Hiding The Alpha

Moon Goddess

I called a pack meeting. James tried but he doesn't have the Alpha power which confused me.

"Everyone, you guys might not like this but I mated with James temporarily so the council won't come after us." I started feeling light headed and sleepy. "I will continue with mating Howard, but I have to get through th-the co-comp-" that's all I got through before I fell to the ground and passed out.

I opened my eyes and I was in a field. It was night time and the flowers were up to my knees. I looked around but couldn't see far because of the fog.

"Anyone there?" I asked. Instead of an answer I heard my eco. I hadn't even said it that loud. I saw the grass and flowers dying and turning brown quickly. I looked up and saw her.

My mom.

"Mom?" I said softly.

"No child, I am the moon goddess." I was shocked.

"What?"

"Moon goddess. I have news for you. I understand you are a young Alpha but you can't mate with your Beta. The council will come after you. You, my dear are meant to be with Quinn for a reason."

"But his Alpha will kill me. How are we meant for each other?"

"That, young Alpha, you will find out soon. This was all my doing, I have your life planned out. Who will come into it and who will leave it. The council will come after you if you and your destiny with your mate is my fulfilled in time. You have one week. Now I shall start you from the begging. You will be given a clean slate. I must go now, and remember. I am always watching you and protecting you. You are more special than you think my Canis Lupus Arctos."

She faded away, as did the rest of the world.

I jerked up from the bed I was in. I looked around the room and saw members from our pack.

"Everyone leave!" James yelled. They scurried out.

"I need to pee." I got out of the bed and walked into the bathroom. I just realized I was in my room.

I shut the door behind me and splashed water in my face. I tied my hair back so it wouldn't get wet. I looked into the mirror and gasped. James mark was gone.

What the moon goddess said repeated in my head. 'Now I shall start you from the begging. You will be given a clean slate.'

By restart she meant the day. By clean slate she wiped any trace of James off of me.

I am still a virgin. I am un-marked and un-mated.

I walked out of the bathroom and straight to James. I took his head and moved it to the side. My mark on him was gone, as if both of them healed.

"Impossible." I whispered.

"What?"

"Our marks are gone. The moon goddess removed all traces if you and me ever doing anything today. I have to go talk to my mate." I ran out of the room to the front yard and shifted.

Concentrating on Quinn became easier and I got into his mind.

'Baby I need you to come to the boarder where you first saw me.'

'Your mated. I'll let you be now. I won't chase after you.' He sounded so broken. I slowed my pace to a walk.

'Not any more. I know this sounds confusing but please meet me where you first saw me so I can explain everything.'

'Okay.'

I cut the link and went to where we first met.

After a few minutes he got there with shirts in his mouth. I had changed already and waited for him to shift and put on his shorts.

"Can I, umm, come over there and, umm, never mind."

"What were you going to say." He said.

"I was going to ask could I hug you." He smiled and held his arms open. Then I did the cliché thing where I run into his arms and he picks me up and spins me around. I giggled as he put me down.

These sparks were amazing. He kissed my cheek.

"Baby, what did you want to tell me?"

Here comes the moment of truth.
