Hiding The Alpha

Danie (Quinn POV)

I sat in the living room with my head in my hands. Everything hurts. My head from thinking. My body from running and punching things in the woods. My heart from the bond breaking. The worst part about it all is I would still take her back with open arms and forgive her.

Even though I have given up on everything. Love. Life. Mates. The Moon Goddess. I still would take her back.

A girl whose name I don't even know. My black haired brown eyes beauty. What confused me most was her pure white fur. We haven't seen a pure white wolf since my dad, I mean Alpha, killed my mates mom. I can't accept my dad as, well, my dad.

That reminded me. I have to become Alpha. Now. He won't stop searching for the young Alpha unless his Alpha commands him not to.

I ran upstairs and just walked into his office. His head snapped up.

"Did I say yo-"

"Alpha I challenge you for position."

He smirked. He stood up. Just as I thought he would accept.

"Leave. I know what your trying to do."

I resisted as much as I could and held his gaze but my wolf took over and left.

'Baby I need you to come to the boarder where you first saw me.' My mate said. I've become used to her doing this.

'Your mated. I'll let you be now. I won't chase after you.' I sounded pathetic.

'Not any more. I know this sounds confusing but please meet me where you first saw me so I can explain everything.'

'Okay.'

She cut the link and went to where we first met.

I took off my shirt and walked out side. Once I got to the woods I took off my shorts so I was just in my boxers. I shifted and picked up my shorts in my mouth and ran to where I first met my mate.

I got there and she was dressed in a tank top and short shorts. Damn she is making this hard for me. I saw her look into my wolfy eyes with happiness. My wolf started wagging his tail we made our mate happy.

I shifted and put on my shorts. She stood from the ground and we just looked at each other.

"Can I, umm, come over there and, umm, never mind."

"What were you going to say." I responded.

"I was going to ask could I hug you." I smiled and held my arms open. Finally I can hug my mate. Then she did the cliché thing where she run into my arms and I pick her up and spins her around. She giggled as I put me down. I felt content.

The emptiness I felt vanished when she ran into my arms.

These sparks were so amazing I couldn't resist kissing her cheek. She blushed slightly and I smiled

"Baby, what did you want to tell me?" I asked. Damn, after everything I went through today, I forgive her.

She sighed and sat on the ground. I sat down next to her, making sure to keep about two inches between us. I heard her whimper slightly and I snapped my head to hers.

Damn I'm whipped.

She climbed into my lap and leaned on my chest, sighing with happiness.

"So I passed out earlier and the Moon Goddess came to me. She talked and said if we aren't mated in one week then bad things will happen. The reason I couldn't be with you was because I was protecting me and my pack. I'm the Alpha and the human girl your wolf wanted to protect. I had to hide my scent from everyone and pretend to be human. So you have to understand. I still need your Alpha to be taken down before we mate."

"He's my dad. But not any more. I can't accept someone as a parent who is hurting my mate."

I was shocked. Wow, he doesn't accept his dad.

"Baby what's your name? I never go to talk to you and get it."

I smiled. "Danielle or Danie. It doesn't matter which you use, Quinn."

"How do you know my name and I didn't?"

"I forgot how I found out."

I smiled then sat her on the ground. She whimpered slightly and I climbed on her. She leaned back on the ground and I climbed on her. I kissed her on her lips softly, she immediately responded. I stopped and leaned my head against hers, my arms on both sides of her head holding myself up.

"Now, my little mate, how do you manage to get inside my head? We aren't in the same pack and we aren't marked or mated." I asked her. She chuckled and smirked at me.

"Maybe I'll tell you another time." She pulled my head back down and continued to kiss me. I heard pack members coming but didn't make a move to see who it was or stop kissing her.

That's a mistake I will always regret.
