Cal stands in the kitchen of Scott's house with the est of the pack, Pyrrhus on his hip, as Stiles goes through the plan to get Lydia out of Eichen "There's four steps-- we get into Eichen, we get into the closed unit, we get Lydia, we get out." Stiles explains. "And we have to do all of this while getting past orderlies, guards, electric door locks, and a mountain ash barrier." Aiden adds. "You have a plan for all that?" Malia asks. Stiles reaches into his pocket and pulls out the keycard he stole "I stole this last night off an orderly... But, it's useless, 'cause they reset the codes each night." he explains. "So, why'd you take it?" Kira asks confused. "I'm getting to that." Stiles tells her. "The only way to get Lydia out of Eichen is to make that key card work again." Scott explains. Liam squints at them, not understanding where Scott and Stiles are going with the plan "How are you going to do that?" he asks. "We're getting to that, okay? Just listen." Stiles sighs as he turns his MacBook around so everyone can see the screen, showing a log from Eichen on it "I pulled all the history off the key card. Two weeks ago, there was a brownout and the security system rebooted. During a reboot, all of the key cards revert back to a default code. So, if we trigger a reboot..." Stiles trails off. "The card goes back to the default code. It works again." Liam nods with a smile.
"How are we going to cause a brownout?" Kira asks. "That's your part. You're going to draw power from the main line... but only enough to cause the brownout." Cal tells her. "Not a blackout. Do that, and you send Eichen into lockdown, which would be bad. Very, very bad." Stiles adds. Scott looks down at the map of Eichen House's electrical system and points at a spot on it "There's an electrical room behind the reception counter. The main power line goes into two breakers that run power to all of Eichen." he tells her. Kira looks at them overwhelmed and panicked "Okay, slight problem... I don't know how to do that." she tells them. Scott looks at her with a reassuring smile "That's okay! You have time to practice." he tells her. Isaac and Malia frown slightly "Let's say this goes perfectly. How does a brownout get us into the closed unit of Eichen?" Isaac asks. "The system takes five minutes to reboot. In that five minutes, all the alarms will be turned off. The key card should work." Stiles responds. Scott looks at Liam, Aiden and Cal "Aiden, Cal, Liam, you three and I get Stiles to the gate of the closed unit. But after that, he has to go on his own. We can't get past the mountain ash barrier. And, when we're gone, all anyone's going to think is that there was a reboot of the security system caused by a brownout." Scott finishes explaining the plan.
Stiles nods "Uh, any questions?" he asks. "How do we get into Eichen House in the first place?" Liam asks. "What's our worst case scenario?" Malia adds. "What if I can't do it?" Kira questions. Stiles sighs in understanding before shrugging "Okay, admittedly, a lot could go wrong." he tells them. "Everything could go wrong!" Jackson points out. "Guys, if we don't do this, we lose Lydia. She's going to die in there tonight..." Aiden tells them, worried about his mate. "And she might take a lot of innocent people with her." Scott adds. Sighing everyone nods, knowing that if they don't go through with the plan Lydia will die within the next 24 hours. Cal kisses Pyrrhus' head "You stay with Auntie Lou and Auntie Cora later while we go save Auntie Lydia." he tells him. "Otay Daddy. When you home we watch fishies?" the toddler asks him. "Yeah, you, me, Papa and Bampás will watch Finding Nemo." Cal smiles. "Yay! Fishies!" Pyrrhus grins through his hands up in the air making the pack smile fondly at him. "You need to think of a couple of films to watch with me and Auntie Lou still." Cora tells him. "Um... Swuwy and Ike!" Pyrrhus tells her. Cora looks at the three mates "He mean Monsters Inc." Ethan tells her making her nod. "And pizza!" Pyrrhus adds. "Definitely my nephew." Stiles grins, stealing Pyrrhus away from Cal. "Pizza for life!" Pyrrhus giggles, high-fiving his uncle. "You've corrupted our son already Stilinski." Jackson pouts. "It's my job as Uncle." Stiles smiles.
