Cal lies in bed half awake watching Jackson and Ethan get dressed. "Do we have to go in?" he groans. "Yes now get up and dressed. Ethan tells him kissing his head. Cal gets up and gets dressed before heading downstairs. "Anyone know where my contacts are?" he asks everyone. "Not sure babes. Just wear your glasses." Louise tells him. "Fine but not a word from anyone." he groans running back upstairs. Putting on his glasses he runs back downstairs and sits at the table. "Hang on if you're a werewolf why do you still have glasses?" Aiden asks. "Don't know. Deaton is looking in to it." he responds grabbing some cereal. Louise smiles at Cal "Don't you dare Lou." he pouts. Louise shrugs and starts humming the Harry Potter theme. "Really Lou?" he asks making her shrug.

Jackson, Cal and Louise all jump out of the car, before they head over to where the twins are pulling up alongside Scott. "Is this about being in my pack?" Scott asks. "This is about you being the target of demonic ninjas." Aiden starts. "You mean the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chests and completely kicked our asses?" Ethan asks. "Yeah. Those demonic ninjas." Aiden smiles. "I don't need anyone to protect me." Scott tells them. "They were looking right at you and Cal when the sun came up." Ethan counters. "And they also disappeared. Argent thinks that they could just come out at night." Scott explains. "Since this is our first experience with demonic ninjas, we're thinking we should play it safe. All day. And all night." Aiden tells him.
They get to their lockers where Scott starts getting stuff out while talking to the twins. "Okay, one thing first. I need to talk to Stiles and let him know everything that happened last night. Without you." Scott tells them. "No." Aiden says shaking his head. "Yes. And I don't want you listening in. No wolf hearing." Scott adds. "How would you even know?" Ethan asks. "I'm a true Alpha. You have no idea what I can do." Scott tells them shutting his locker. Cal rolls his eyes and turns to see Cora walking in. "What are you doing here?" he asks smiling. "Never finished High School." she shrugs. Cal nods and turns to Ethan "You and Ai go with Scott. I'm with Cora and Jackson, I'll be fine." he tells him. Ethan looks worried but agrees. "Be safe." he tells Cal kissing his head.
After school Aiden and Ethan run over to where Cal, Jackson, Louise and Cora are "Scott ran off and the sun sets soon." Aiden tells them. Cal stands up "We need to get to his. Deaton lined the walls with mountain ash." he says before turning to Cora "At home I have enough mountain ash to protect you and Louise. It's in the draw by the sink." he tells her. Cora nods and takes Louise back to the house. The twins get on their bikes while Jackson and Cal get in the car.
As they arrive at Scott's house the sun starts to set. "In now!" Ethan tells Cal. Inside they see a ninja stab Scott's father. Jackson takes Cal over to where Scott and Kira are, while Aiden and Ethan start fighting them. Derek suddenly crashes through a window and starts to help the twins. "Mom, the ash! Mom, now! Do it now!" Scott shouts to Melissa as they push the ninjas out the house. Melissa throws the ash onto the floor by the door sealing the barrier.
Cal sits on a chair and start jiggling his leg up and down. Noticing this Jackson and Ethan go over to him." Baby you okay?" Ethan asks. "Yeah just don't like being in one place a long time." he smiles weakly. Jackson nods and sits him on his lap stroking his hair. Ethan smiles at his mates and sits on the floor holding Cal's hand. "It's Kira, right? You going to tell us what you are?" Aiden asks Kira from the door. "What? What do you mean?" she asks. "Aiden." Ethan warns. "Watch! See that? She can't go through it either. So, what are you?" Aiden asks putting Kira's hand up to the barrier. "She's a kitsune, idiot. Use your eyes. You can see it all around her. The younger ones give off an aura. She just hasn't learned how to conceal it yet. She probably doesn't know what kind she is either." Derek tells the four boys.
Cal perks up and gets a notes page open on his phone. "Kitsune possess a multitude of supernatural abilities, such as enhanced strength, speed, and agility; a natural aptitude for weaponry and combat, production of Foxfire; and accelerated healing. However, some of the powers possessed by this species are specific to an individual Kitsune type. Kitsune accumulate tails throughout their lives that increase their powers, and the most powerful Kitsune are said to have nine tails. There are thirteen different types of Kitsune each with their own set of powers: Sanda/Thunder, Tengoku/Heaven/Celestial, Umi/Ocean, Chikyu/Earth, Kukan/Void, also known as a Nogitsune, Kasai/Fire Kaze/Wind, Mori/ Forest, Yama/Mountain, Ongaku/Music, Kawa/River, Jika/Time and Seishin/Spirit." he reads out. Everyone stares at him "What? I did about Japanese mythology a year ago. I got really interested in it so did my own research." he shrugs. Ethan and Jackson chuckle softly at their mate while Aiden and Derek look impressed.
Cal dozes off in Jackson's lap making him smile lovingly down at him. "You've changed for the boy I bit." Derek tells him. "Really?" Jackson asks. Derek nods and leans against the door frame "You're less self centred." he explains before walking off. Smiling Jackson strokes Cal's floppy fringe back. Ethan walks over to them "You need to see this." he tells Jackson. "Cal wake up." Jackson says softly. Yawning Cal wakes up and stands to allow Jackson up.
They walk over to the front door where a ninja is using its sword to poke the barrier. "What are they doing?" Jackson asks. "Testing for weaknesses." Cal realises. "Guys? We have a problem." Ethan calls out. "Scott, we're going to have to do something." Jackson tells him holding Cal close. "Don't do anything." he tells them. "Is he serious?" Cal asks. "I said don't do anything. Trust me. You're gonna be okay." Scott tells Kira and Cal. Cal looks worried but nods. Stepping forward a ninja puts his hand up to his ear glowing it's eyes. Suddenly Cal falls to the floor being caught by both Ethan and Jackson. "You're okay we've got you baby." Ethan tells him as he starts shivering.
Once healed Cal stands up and looks at Scott. "What the hell are they?" he glares. "They're called the oni. They're looking for someone possessed. A dark spirit attached to them. A Nogitsune." he explains. "Great does this town get a break or not? First the Darach and now we've got Japanese spirits." Cal rants before walking out the house and to the car. Jackson jumps in and turns to him "Home?" he asks making Cal nod.
Cal jumps out the car and unlocks to door to find Cora and Louise sat on a sofa eating ice cream. "Lou you can break the barrier. Turns out they're after an evil spirit, they won't hurt you as you're human." Cal explains. Nodding Louise breaks the barrier and hugs each of the boys. "Glad my boys are all okay. I'm going to go order Chinese." she smiles. "We are not her boys." Jackson says. Cal looks at him "Yeah we are." he says. "Yeah true." Jackson shrugs.
Cora laughs and pulls Cal down next to her. "I need your expertise." she tells him. "How may I be of service?" he asks. "I like your brother but I don't know how to make a move on him." she admits. "Ha. Ethan you owe me ten bucks. Just go over to him and kiss him. Trust me he likes you aswell." Cal smiles. Cora nods and goes to get up. "Nope you're staying over night." Cal tells her smiling. "Alright but I get to pick the first movie." she says. "Deal. To the cinema room." Cal cheers.
