Cal sits between Stiles and Jackson in his father's office along with Lydia, Scott and Kira. Scott's dad on Noah's desk, with Noah sat behind the desk. "So when did you get there?" McCall asks. "At the same time." Stiles answers. "At the same time as who?" "At the same time as me." Scott tells his dad. "By coincidence?" McCall asks. "What do you mean coincidence?" Cal asks. "That's what I'm asking you. All of you arrived at the same time. Was that coincidence?" he asks. "Are you asking me?" Scott asks. "I think he's asking me." Stiles and Cal say in unison. "I think he's asking all three of you." Lydia adds.
"Okay, let me answer the questions. Let me ask the questions. Just so I have this absolutely clear. Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school. Someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira. Then Barrow took Kira to a power substation and tied her up with the intent of electrocuting her, which blacked out the entire town." McCall reads off his notebook. "Sounds about right." Jackson says. "How did you know he'd take her to a power station?" McCall asks. "Well, 'cause he was an electrical engineer." Cal starts. "So where else would he take her?" Stiles finishes. "That's one hell of a deduction there, boys." "Yeah, what can we say? We take after our pops. He's in law enforcement." Stiles smirks winking at their dad. Noah snorts but covers it up by coughing "Stiles, Cal, just, uh...Just answer the man." he tells them. "We made a good guess." Cal shrugs.
"What were the two of you doing?" McCall asks Scott and Kira. "Eating pizza."Scott says as Kira answers with "Eating sushi." They look at eachother before Scott responds with "Eating sushi." and Kira with "Eating pizza." Sighing they both answer with "Eating sushi and pizza." in unison. "You believe this?" McCall asks Noah. "To be honest, I haven't believed a word Stiles has said since he learned how to speak. But I think these kids found themselves in the right place at the right time and that girl sitting there is very lucky for it." Noah smiles. "Kira, is that how you remember it?" McCall asks. Everyone looks at her "Yes. Could I get my phone back now?" "Sorry, but no. Kira, a deputy is going to take you home. But we'll need you to fill out some paperwork first."
Cal stands up and stretches "Let's go home." Jackson tells him. Nodding Cal walks out to Jackson's car and climbs in. Jackson gets in just after him and drives them back to the house. Cal walks in a d is immediately engulfed into a hug by Louise. She then pulls away and hits his arm "You're an idiot." she glares before hugging him again "I'm glad you're okay." she tells him. Cal looks at Jackson and the twins who are trying not to laugh. Cal pulls away and looks at his friend "Go to bed. I'm fine but you need sleep." he tells her. Louise nods and kisses each of the boys on the cheek before going to her room.
The next morning Cal wakes up to the covers being yanked off him. Looking up he notices Ethan and Jackson getting ready with a smiling Louise, who isholding the duvet. "We tried getting you up but you didn't. So I resulted to drastic methods." she tells him smiling. Cal rolls his eyes and gets out of bed. "You're lucky I love you." he tells her kissing her forehead. "I know. Now hurry up I've made breakfast." she tells him.
