Chapter Two

Armin was so happy, and was having slight trouble breathing. Is this for real?? he wondered. Why did Eren really want to visit him, when it had been so long? Had his personality changed? Did he look any different? Or a question at the back of his mind, was he in a relationship?

Either way, Armin was excited. What should he do to get ready? He laid back in the chair and looked out the window at the evening beach. It was so beautiful, the sky, with layers of purple, blue, pink, bright orange, and a firm gold color near the sun. And then there was the ocean. It was a blue shade with purple from the sky, and at what people had used to believe was the end of the earth, a pure light teal color. The sand, a tanned tone of peach, and the beautiful pink-tinted clouds. Armin opened the window and stuck his head out, as a clean blow of wind passed by. It cleared his lungs, blew in his sunny hair, ruffled his blue polo shirt, and he just smiled. This was the summer feeling he felt everyone should be able to feel. Just... Freedom.

He stood up and started cleaning the house. His parents were on one of their three month trips, so he had some spare time on his hands. As he started with cleaning the dishes, he turned on the 'The Beach' by The Neighborhood, his favorite band (AUTHOR'S NOTE: it's mine as well :D). Music was an important part of his life, it let him relax, especially with how lonely it got. He also loved it because you could literally do anything with it: work, read, study, walk, party, sleep, or even just listen to it for fun.

Armin had a few different hobbies, such as volleyball, gardening, skateboarding, swimming, reading, and a few instruments. He couldn't be considered skilled at the piano, but he enjoyed the ukulele. His favorite books were the Lord of the Rings, Percy Jackson, Ender's Game, and Harry Potter. Anything to clear his mind. He loved Star Wars and How to Train your Dragon. He had seen a couple of anime's like Sk8 the Infinity and Sword Art Online, but those were only ok.

Armin went to bed that night after cleaning and reading a couple of chapters from Ender's Game then went to brush his teeth, strip off down to his underwear, get a drink of water, and fall asleep. The second his head touched the pillow, he smiled and fell into a dream.

A couple of days later, Eren texted him.

'Hey Armin, I'll be there tomorrow in the afternoon! :D'

Armin texted back, 'ok awesome! so excited to see you'

'You too <3'

The little heart at the end made Armin smile. He got up the next morning, and waited for Eren to arrive.
