"Miss Popular" Jin called out to her, waving his hands at her.

"I'm back" She held onto his arms, entangling her fingers with his, making Ava speechless and fuming in  rage.

"... Umm, do you have any siblings? " He broke the silence as they walked beside each other.

"Naaah, I don't. But I wish for one. How about you? "

"I have an older brother. He's doing his studies abroad. "

"That's cool. You miss him, don't you? "

"... Yes. Definitely " He stole a glance at her. Her eyes are her most striking feature. He couldn't help but notice them.

They both quickly headed back to their classroom when they heard the bell.

"We both narrowly escaped detention," Jin panted, trying to catch his breath.

"Imagine getting a detention on the very first day of school. That's even worse, "she breathed out.

"I agree with you." Jimin laid his head on the desk, watching them with a sly smile.

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Noo" She choked an answer out.

Before they could react to the exclusive news, the teacher decided to barge in and they had to continue their stupid classes.

The sound of the last bell fills them with sheer joy. Gossips and chats got louder as they reached the school compound.

"I can't believe I have to study for the English test tomorrow and that too, on my very first day of school," Jenny began to whine.

"Correction, it's the fourth month of school for us," Jin chuckled, watching her pout.

"So.... Are we going to do it again? " Jimin wriggled his eyebrows at Jin while he shook his head.

"Doing what? " She questioned them as they turned their heads to face her.

"Cheating," Jimin whispered into her ears as she gasped.

"That sounds like a plan. But we'll do it a bit differently. " She smirked at them, motioning them to come close to her. She leaned over, softly speaking into their ears.

"I really didn't get you," Jimin whispered back, before she let out a loud sigh.

"It's simple. She wants us to learn and not to cheat, "Jin mumbled, his ears turning a shade of red when he noticed how close her face was to his.

"Bravo!" She ruffled his hair, before a voice interrupted them. Peeking over Jin's broad shoulders, she met someone she least expected today.

"Yaah, pops"

She ran into her father's embrace, leaving the confused boys behind her.

"I thought you had a meeting today..." She mumbled under her breath.

"Would you mind introducing me to the boys who are staring at us, princess?" Her eyes lit up as she heard his whisper.

Suddenly, looking behind, she met their gaze, which instantly made her smile. Grabbing her father's hand, she dragged him towards them.

"These are my new friends I made, Pops," she beamed.

They both bowed to her father with the brightest smile, greeting him as they introduced each other.

"Pops, Can we go to the ice cream parlour down the road? "

Those puppy eyes were directed at her father, knowing he couldn't resist them.

"Why not? " Her father chuckled.

She held both their arms tightly and smiled,

"Let's go, shall we? "

Her father couldn't help but smile at the trio walking before him, debating on the best ice cream they tried.
