Mason and I looked at Jack, neither of us sure what was going on. Jack started to make his way towards us, he looked really angry, and as he reached us he bent down pulling  Mase to his feet and punched him straight in the jaw.

"JACK!!! What the fuck are you doing????" I screamed at him as I scrambled to my feet pushing him away from Mase who was sitting on the deck of the boat holding his face, and as Jack tried to lunge past me to hit him again he knocked into me and I slipped on the wet deck, falling down onto the champagne glasses Mase and I had been drinking out of moments before, cut glass was embedded in my left arm and hand. I sat there in complete shock, blood pouring from my wound and dripping all over the deck. I looked up at Jack, tears in my eyes, the look of horror written across his face when he realised what he'd done. He bent down to try and help me up but I pushed him away with my uninjured hand.

"Don't fucking touch me" I shouted, anger building up inside of me as I tried to get to my feet without falling again.

I looked behind Jack, this was the first time I'd noticed Taylor standing there watching everything unfold.

"This is down to you isn't?" I yelled at her

A satisfied smile appeared on her face.

"I dont know what you're talking about hun? I just filled Jack in on how cosy you and Mason looked sitting  up here drinking champagne together that's all. He's got a right to know if his girlfriend's a cheating whore, he deserves better" she said, looking totally unaffected by everything that had just happened.

I looked back to Jack.

"So on her word, you come steaming in thinking something's going on between me and Mason?" I said shaking my head and holding my left arm up to try and stop the bleeding.

"The reason Mason was up here with me was because he'd seen that bitch follow me into the toilet earlier and realised that something was wrong when I didn't come out for ages. He came to check that I was alright and did nothing but stick up for you and tell me how much you love me and how happy you are with me and that you'd never look at her twice, then you go and do this to him" I spat, feeling the rage burning up inside of me with every word I spoke.

"Karly, I'm so sorry" Jack began, as the realisation of what he'd done hit him, I could see tears starting to well in his eyes.

"It's not me you should be apologising to" I said

"Mase, bruvva, I'm so sorry, I dunno what I was thinking" said Jack as he held out his hand to Mason to help him up.

Mason took his hand and stood back up.

"We're good" he said hugging Jack and whispering in his ear "don't let that toxic bitch ruin what you've got with Karly mate. She's a goodun, don't let her go, ever, you're perfect together"

I looked at the boys, slightly annoyed at how quickly they'd made up. I pushed past Jack as I made my way back to the other end of the boat,  still holding my arm in the air which was still bleeding non stop.

I went up to dining area and poured myself a large glass of water and sat down in the shade for a bit. The boat had started to turn around and head back to shore, I heard one of the crew members say we'd be back in about 15 minutes, which suited me fine, I wanted off this goddam boat and to get away from everyone on it.

Jack sheepishly appeared in the doorway and made his way over to me and sat down.

"Babygirl, please forgive me? I dont know what came over me, just for a split second I allowed that spiteful bitch inside my head, and when she said she'd seen you and Mason alone "together" I thought the worst,  which is exactly what she wanted" he bowed his head in shame, holding onto my right hand, my left arm and hand still bleeding profusely.
