I was awoken early the following morning by Jack's phone ringing, as I lifted my head off my pillow I felt my entire body aching from our eventful night together and noticed that Jack wasn't in bed, I could hear the shower running.

I leant over to see who was calling him at this ungodly hour, his phone said "England Gaffer Calling" I hesitated, should I answer it? Would Gareth Southgate appreciate his star players phone being answered by his new girlfriend? No, I should leave it! But what if it's important? No, I should definitely leave it! Almost as though my hands had gotten bored with the argument I was having with myself,  they decided to take it upon themselves to pick up Jack's phone and press "Accept"!

"Good morning Jack" said the voice down the phone.

"Sorry, not Jack" I apologised  "he's in the shower at the moment, can I get him to give you a call back as soon as he's finished?" I said, swearing at myself under my breath for actually picking up the call!

"Oh hi Karly" he replied "How are you? Is everything ok? Jack filled us in on everything that happened yesterday"

I didn't really know what to say, I already felt like a massive burden having made Jack leave St George's Park earlier than he should have just because I felt too scared to be in my own home by myself, everything seemed so much less frightening today, but I knew the only reason behind that was being with Jack and him making me feel safe, the problem was still there!

"yes.... yes thank you" I stuttered in reply, "everything is fine. I'm so sorry for making Jack come down here last night, thank you so much for letting him" I added, expressing how appreciative I was.

"Not a problem at all" Gareth added "you're safety is the most important thing at the end of the day and Jack wouldn't have been able to rest if he hadn't come to you last night which would do us no favours today at all" I could hear his smile down the phone, he sounded so kind, exactly how I'd imagined him to be.

"Did you want me to get Jack to call you back? He shouldn't be too long, he's just finishing up in the shower?" I added

"No, no, it's fine, can you just let him know we have left St Georges Park and should be at the hotel to check in, in about 2 hours, if he can be ready to head to training about 11:00 then that would be great"

"Yeah of course I will" I said "Nice speaking with you, good luck for tonight, I can't wait, it's definitely coming home" I added

He chuckled "Let's hope so. Goodbye Karly, hopefully see you this evening" Gareth added and hung up the call.

Jack appeared at the end of the bed, his towel around his waist, his hair wet and beads of water all over his chest, he casually walked over to me still laying on the bed and leant down on top of me, kissing me deeply on the lips.

"Morning beautiful" he said, standing back up again, with the biggest grin on his face "how ya feeling today?"

I dramatically flopped back down on the pillow

"I'm bloody sore" I said "And I ache from head to toe, what did you do to me last night?" I joked

Jack smiled, looking pleased with himself, pulling off his towel and throwing it on the floor at the end of the bed.

"I can remind you if ya like?" he said cheekily, his lips making their way up my body settling on my breast...

"baby please, stop" I said gently pushing his shoulders back "as much as I would love nothing more than to spend all day in bed with you" I teased "you've got the most important game of your life tonight and you need to focus on that right now" I couldn't believe I was refusing Jack Grealish sex, but he had other priorities. He looked at me disappointingly "not to mention Southgate just called and said to be ready to head to training for 11, which gives us time to have breakfast together and pretty much nothing else" I said as I struggled out of bed, starting to make my way to the bathroom, naked. Jack grabbed me, pulling me back onto the bed and pinning me down as he kissed me, his hands began to wander over my body again "Sorry" he said, stopping himself "you're right babygirl. Can we pick up where we left off tonight" he said with a glint in his eye.
